Well he's playing within himself right now on offense, which is fine. I'd rather he do that than force it and turn it over. He needs to step it up on defense though, Chalmers is smoking him.

We didn't pay him $113 Million for him to score 9 pts in 3 quarters.

No one else on this team can make a shot right now. We could use him.

Poor shooting from FT and 3-PT line tonight for the Wizards.

Let's see if they show up in the 4th quarter.
I think Nick Young is doing a fine job being the guy on offense right now. He's tiring out whoever is guarding him and is getting good looks 1 on 1. And right, we paid Arenas a ton of money, but it doesn't mean the guy is completely back to being himself. What you're saying is the kind of thinking that gets you in trouble, trying to force things and live up to a contract when it's not the most effective thing to do.

Don't panic, run the offense, keep the ball moving. We have good shooters who can hit the shot when open.

As it should be, at least tonight. Arenas has been borderline invisible, while Boykins has been playing great. I'm actually glad to see it - it'd be a shame to bring Arenas back in just because he "should" be in.

I'm loving Flip's rotations this game, but I can't help thinking what took him so long. Isn't that what pre-season is for? Either way, you need to give Flip credit for trying something new whereas Tapscott and Eddie Jordan were too stubborn to change their strategies.

Agreed. Boykins has surprised me. Really solid player.

Are we better without Arenas? This is the second time that I can remember that Arenas simply didn't play in the fourth quarter because we play better without him.

And Nick Young has been playing very good defense in this game. Wait, what?

I like it. Flip sat N1 for 5 games and now he's bangin. He should sit Arenas and Butler more often.

benched. Boykins is everything that Gilbert isn't. Plays good, smart basketball and knows how to distribute the ball.

We were great a few years ago without Arenas when we were beating the Celtics in back to back games and playing amazing defense.

The Arenas of today is a shell of the former Gilbert Arenas. Sad but true.

I waited the entire game to post, because I wasn't sure if they would collapse. Who would have thunk it? Young and Earl Boykins would win a game for us. Love it that Arenas wasn't in during the 4th quarter. Save him for Charlotte. He plays too many minutes anyway. Best defensive effort in a long time.
