Yeah Davis was a beast at UK. They never even ran plays through him forreal or relied on him to score, and he still dominated rather easily.

I’ve recently gotten into college ball so from what I’ve saw, I’m going with Anthony Davis. Pretty much unstoppable as a player. Ben Simmons also played like a man possessed despite his team not making it far.

Lew Alcindor - no question
Only 2 losses in 3 years (not allowed to play as a freshman back then)
three NCAA championships in those three years
after his freshman year the NCAA banned dunking just because of his dominance in the paint
player-of-the-year twice and first team all-american all three years and many other awards
you can't have a much better career

I was young. But ralph Sampson was the best I’ve ever seen. He was in same era of ask Hakeem Jordan Ewing. And he was 3 time college player of the year. He was better than all of them. It’s a shame he got injured in his 4th year in the nba. Who knows what him and the dream would have done had he not gotten injured. They took down Magic Johnson at his peak in 1986 in the playoffs

Others mentioned him but Wayman Tisdale is why I love college basketball. Keith Lee from Memphis was pretty special, too. Cool thread!

03 is when I first started watching college ball. Anthony Davis is probably the single most dominant player I've seen. Zion is creeping into that territory.
