Big fan of trends as well, grant has seen his stats slip since sec play. Pj's keep going up.

"Much better shooting" :noway:

Grant shoots 73% at the rim, 53% on 2pt jumpers, 83% at the line.

PJ shoots 65% at the rim, 44% on 2pt jumpers, 68% at the line.

Neither shoots enough 3PA to make a meaningful judgement there.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Jontay Porter feels like such a Utah pick if he's there (and I'd love him). In the second round I feel the same way about Happ. I would hope, though, that if things break the way you have them we'd grab Kevin Porter Jr.

Good board, I can't justify Cam above Ja given the seasons they've had though.

Me either. It is a matter of team fit. I can't see Cleveland taking another PG after taking Sexton last year and having nothing else to build around. But, Morant is absolutely a top 3 prospect and when the dust settles will probably end up going #2 or #3.

FYI CLE has used Sexton off ball quite a bit due to his need for improvement as a distributor and he has played well in that role this season so I don't think Ja is off the table for them completely. But you are right in thinking he probably isn't as high on their board as some others at different positions. I think Hayes could be a sleeper for them if they are in the 4-5 range

I think if the #3 pick is Atlanta or Cleveland is Morant, just turn that pick into a bidding war. I like the list, not sold on it for my Hawks but Hayes is a nice selection.

I understand if the rank is based on general opinion ranking but please remove Cam reddish from tier 3 and place him in the Tiers not worth listing pool, gawd this guy is overrated. terrible freshman numbers still riding the HS hype train. If he was playing anywhere else he never would have gotten this much shine still. If I had 3 picks in the first round I still wouldn't take this no effort no motor scrub.

The big board is based on my opinion, not necessarily where I expect them to go like the mock. I'm not ready to give up on Reddish yet. H finds himself in the Chris Bosh in Miami 3rd wheel role and it is causing him to struggle. I think if he was playing somewhere where he had a more defined role on the offense, he'd have had a much better season. The tools are all there and he played much better when Zion was hurt.

He's not without some risk, but that goes for pretty much everyone in that tier.

Thats fair I guess, I just have not seen enough seizing of opportunities from him ( and he's had plenty even with the other two playing) to "believe" he will develop his game to a level that justifies a top 20 pick.
Not in the same way some of the others in this draft have shown.
I would draft Okeke,King,Okpala and K.Porter all currently still considered lesser ceiling prospects by most 10 picks ahead of him.
If he develops sure he can be a solid player, and yes the tools are there... but tools are worthless locked in a drawer and he seems to be content with getting them out occasionally and then like a 10 yr old leaves them laying in the yard so he can go play sega...not dedicated, not motivated= bust

I don't understand how anyone can have Reddish and Okeke separated by 30 slots. If you are high on Cam you should be high on Okeke for all the same reasons (and without a lot of the downside tbh).
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Right my biggest complaint about Reddish is he rarely shows anything worthy of being an NBA player let alone a lottery picked one. Okeke looks like a day 1 rotation player on a contender.
I guess in my mind it goes like this; which of the two players would you trust to show up early and leave late, and the answer is unequivocally Okeke. I don't trust Reddish to put the work in because of his poor motor and poor determination to succeed. Those two factors for me negate the positives about Reddish's game and kill any apparent upside based on proven tools and obvious measurements. Okeke is in fact the better player,is in fact more likely to succeed and is by all accounts a higher value higher upside prospect even if Reddish had a better will to improve. Reddish has a better handle, but that is irrelevant since he has no idea how to use it.

I'm absolutely not convinced Reddish has a better handle. At least on drives the guy turns it over virtually every time it seems. It's ridiculous.
