Big3's mock - UPDATED TUESDAY (6/23)
1. Clippers - Blake Griffin
Lucky ass holes...
2. Grizzlies - Ricky Rubio
Rubio is picked and traded.
3. Thunder - Hasheem Thabeet
Snag their C at pick 3.
4. Kings - Jonny Flynn
Starved for a PG.
5. Wizards - James Harden
Fills out line-up nicely...but this pick is likely dealt.
6. Timberwolves - Tyreke Evans
Wolves draft a big, powerful guard to play with Foye, or use this to trade up for Rubio.
7. Warriors - Stephen Curry
Big time shooter, can be electrifying on offense, which seems to be the culture in GS.
8. Knicks - Jordan Hill
Replaces David Lee, who will likely cost too much to keep this summer if they want to maximize cap space next summer.
9. Raptors - DeMar DeRozan
Super athletic wing is a welcome sight in Toronto.
10. Bucks - Jrue Holiday
Defensively solid guard can back up Sessions or Redd or start w/ Redd and allow the Bucks to focus on keeping Villanueva this summer.
11. Nets - Terrence Williams
A superb athlete and defender to pair with Harris in the back court.
12. Bobcats - Gerald Henderson
Bell is fine, but he's significantly older than the rest of the roster.
13. Pacers - Brandon Jennings
Jennings take a bit of a slide and the Pacers gamble on his athleticism and talent.
14. Suns - Eric Maynor
Nash's protege.
15. Pistons - Earl Clark
Bigs are getting long in the tooth.
16. Bulls - DeJuan Blair
Beefs up a skinny front court.
17. 76ers - Jeff Teague
A young PG is needed here.
18. Timberwolves - James Johnson
Good value here, hopefully pans out as a more athletic Ryan Gomes.
19. Hawks - Ty Lawson
Bibby is good, but he's significantly older than the rest of the roster. Lawson will eventually replace him.
20. Jazz - BJ Mullens
Athletic 7 footers are rarely found this late, so the Jazz snap him up.
21. Hornets - Austin Daye
Super talented project, could look great with Paul in the line-up.
22. Mavericks - Patrick Mills
Should be able to place himself ahead of Barea as the next point guard.
23. Kings - Omri Casspi
First Israeli player in the NBA, Casspi fills out the starting line-up for the Kings.
24. Trailblazers - Rodrigue Beaubois
A bit of a surprise here, with few players wanting to work out with a team with very little space on their roster right now, the Blazers pick a higher potential guy that could spend one more season over seas.
25. Thunder - Chase Budinger
Terrific snag this late to fill out the starting line-up with Thabeet.
26. Bulls - Tyler Hansbrough
Bulls need some toughness around the basket - maybe a low ceiling, but also a pretty low bust factor.
27. Grizzlies - DaJuan Summers
A combo forward that could possibly start next to Gay.
28. Timberwolves - Darren Collison
A solid, proven PG that has relatively low potential, but also a pretty low bust factor.
29. Lakers - Wayne Ellington
Can spot up and let Kobe go to work.
30. Cavaliers - Sam Young
Strong defender and can spot up working off of LeBron.
31. Sacramento - Danny Green
32. Portland - Victor Claver
33. Washington - Marcus Thornton
34. Denver - Jermaine Taylor
35. Memphis - Jonas Jerebko
36. Detroit - Derrick Brown
37. San Antonio - Toney Douglas
38. Portland - Nick Calathes
39. Detroit - Taj Gibson
40. Charlotte - Dionte Christmas
41. Milwaukee - Jeff Pendergraph
42. LA Lakers - Alade Aminu
43. Miami - Jon Brockman
44. Detroit - Dante Cunningham
45. Minnesota - Jodie Meeks
46. Cleveland - Wesley Matthews
47. Minnesota - Slava Kravtsov
48. Phoenix - Jerel McNeal
49. Atlanta - AJ Price
50. Utah - Henk Norel
51. San Antonio - Sergio Llull
52. Indiana - Josh Heytvelt
53. San Antonio - Sergey Gladyr
54. Charlotte - Nando de Colo
55. Portland - Emir Preldzic
56. Portland - Jeff Adrien
57. Phoenix - Milenko Tepic
58. Boston - Jack McClinton
59. LA Lakers - Lester Hudson
60. Miami - Ahmad Nivins
Lucky ass holes...
2. Grizzlies - Ricky Rubio
Rubio is picked and traded.

The Cats just drafted DJ Augustin last year, so I can't see them taking Ty Lawson.

I like that you're trying to be creative, but Curry over Harden? Seems like a terrible choice, and Harden would actually be a pretty good fit beside Monta (GS have been trying to make Monta a PG, and Harden's half court playmaking ability at SG could really help him out). Also, Holiday at 10th? He plays great defense, and is a real hustler, but is very limited offensively, and not much of an athlete - the only thing that screams "lotto pick" about him is his high school hype.

Re: Big3's mock - UPDATE 5/15 - Shake things up
In regards to the Bobcats pick: what if I switched Henderson and Lawson?
I figured there are so many wings in Golden State, they would want a PG over a wing, but yeah that definitely makes sense.
I originally had Henderson penciled in for Milwaukee, maybe I should go back to that. Is Milwaukee satisfied with their PG position? I thought Holiday would do well in workouts and shoot up draft boards, but 10 might still be a little high.
I also can't switch Henderson in for both Bobcats and Bucks...so I'll come up with something

I agree about Harden. I actually like Jennings for the Clippers, but I also think that Tyreke Evans would be a fantastic fit next to Gordon. I'd rather the Jazz draft Sergio Llull or Patrick Mills than Collison, but I don't think that I represent most of our fan-base. I don't see why Day would drop down to 28, I think that the Thunder would draft him over Ellington if they had the chance. Good mock though, I like a lot of the things you did with it, but disagree with some too.

No. You made the right call with Milwaukee. Don't change that.

I think the Warriors would be better off with Tyreke Evans at that spot because he's much more versatile at the 1/2 than Harden.

Don't like the Curry pick for Milwaukee at all.. and think he's a horrendous pick there.

Warriors would take Tyreke Evans over Hill...the last thing we need is another lanky project PF.

Re: Big3's mock - UPDATED 5/22 (FRIDAY)
I'm starting to lose interest in DeRozan for the Wolves if we don't have a PG who can get him the ball. He seems like a guy who'd be fantastic with a good PG, but will struggle if he's forced to create his own offense. Unfortunately, other than outlet passes from Love, the Wolves don't have anyone who can help make DeRozan a star.

Then draft DeRozan and pick up Lawson/Maynor with the #18 pick

I'm the opposite. I'm losing interest in Tyreke Evans. I'm not necessarily gaining in interest in DeRozan from where I was before, but, to me anyway, Evans' jumper looks just broke while DeRozan's looks like it has some promise. I know Evans is easily a better ball handler than DeRozan, but Evans doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who will run the PG effectively for our team and if he's just another SG, he doesn't seem that special. DeRozan has ideal size and athleticism for his position (I'd say better than Evans' already considerable athleticism) and, in my opinion, showed the most significant improvement of the one-and-doners during this past season. I want someone who I KNOW can run the PG position smoothly, I'm so sick of combo guards and Sebastian Telfair running our team. That's why I say DeRozan at 6 (provided Harden is gone) and a real PG at 18 (a la Lawson/Maynor as gswhoops suggested).
I'd also consider Jennings at 6 for all those PG gripes, but the problem is that I want a starting back court out of 6 and 18 and the only guys that are really even feasible at 18 at SG are Terrence Williams and Chase Budinger. I'd take Derozan/(Lawson/Maynor) over Jennings/(Williams/Budinger).
