Use Google.

Search with the following:

site:www.realgm.com 'username' 'keywords'

COME ON WE NEED THIS FIXED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant search for my posts in google cause "j-rich" is used like over 1000 times on this site and even though i put "j-rich-" it still shows the same posts

To see if anyone replied or quoted you about what you said earlier. RealGm is a huge site with so many members and topics. I would just like to know why I can't search my old posts. Now everytime I post and want to see response I have to hunt it down. Its a forum it supposed to and used to have that, now it says I'm not permitted as if it were some special tool that I can't use.

I'm a little bit perplexed by the lack of communication on the admins part..... If this site, as i would imagine it would be for some at the very least, is your main source of income/job why not respond? What else do you have to do? This is a legitimate complaint and it should be dealt as such. Just my two cents.

I'm sure the administrators have heard enough complaints, so I'll refrain from whining about the lack of search. Two questions though:
1) Was the message board coded by programmers from RealGM? Or is it one of those open-source ones that you can modify for your own site?
2) I think I recall some moderator telling me that they had search functions, although I'm not too sure about that. I also know that I've received a PM from penbeast0, but I was unable to respond. I'm not sure if those issues are related, but is this simply a matter of changing permissions?

Doesn't work great, but you can semi-use Google in the mean time to do some searching. Just type "RealGM Suns Alando Tucker" (if you're a Suns fan like me - you get the point).

It's phpbb, so yeah it's open-source
