Are we supposed to get notifications when a "foe" quotes us?

Bumping this, I just want to know what's the point of the foe option if it doesn't actually block you from seeing that they posted? Or stop them from seeing your posts and/or quoting you

I have a long list of people I can't stand on this site, but don't bother adding them to the foe list as it doesn't really seem to do what would be beneficial i.e. blocking them

I hope this gets more attention. Blocking needs to be complete blocking such that you don't see their posts at all.
