It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.

I get that message whenever I try to include an image in a post. What gives?

yeh also whenever u put a sig, i think the forumis encountering images problems as of late and the admins i hope, will do something bout it.

at first i only thought it gave that message when the picture was too big, but i guess that isn't the case

I got that as well but eventually it let me uplaod my sig. Weird.

yes, it does have vacuum power - the only way I can circumvent is to first send the pic to photobucket -

Thank for the photobucket tip. I have been using imageshack and that doesn't help.

The error is caused because the forums cannot read the image information from the server where the image is hosted. Sometimes this is on purpose because the host doesn't allow this. Sometimes the problem is on our end.

I have found an automatic image resizing modification for the boards that is similar to what we had before. We will need to do some testing before we install it, but it's on our list and hopefully we will be able to turn off the image restrictions so you won't encounter this error any more.

same problem, however i am using photobucket but it's not a solution, i cannot upload imgs or sig directly, i can only link to it.
