LOL... Alright, let me entertain this stupidity. Winning championships comes down to coaching, players, and defense. The Suns lacked all of them. Vogel wasn't the coach for this team, he didn't get the guys he wanted or needed and did the best he could with what he had. 2- Players, KD, Booking, and Beal, practically have the same play style, all are mid-range shooters who can step out and hit the 3. They did not have a playmaker, a contributor, and someone to hold it down in the paint. This team was focused on 1 side of the court, which was the offensive side. 3- DEFENSE... NOT ONE OF THESE GUYS are locked-down defender. So now, if you brought in Mike Antoni, this team would end up in the same position, 1st round exist. They don't need a coaching change they need a personnel change.

Where is your sense of fun and adventure? (Shoot the ball, Lucky!) Here are five solid reasons why D'Antoni would be the perfect coach for this team.

1) Mike is a local favorite and the fans would get behind him.
2) Mike has proven that he can win a lot of games with players that have defensive deficiencies. (Nash, Melo, Harden, Amare, etc.)
3) PHX has nothing to trade; this is their core. They need a coach that will highlight what they do best... which is putting the ball in the hole. (Vogel is a defensive minded coach... it isn't going to happen for them on that end.)
4) PHX has a new owner that is desperate to do two things, win games and put fans in the seats. Mike can make that happen.
5) There is no scenario in which PHX wins a title next season, so why not make the regular season as fun as possible?

And I get all the D'Antoni hate from Lakers fans. Kobe didn't buy in, Nash got hurt and they went into full tank mode. It was a dark couple of years for the purple & gold... but you should also be careful hurling insults around the internet when there is a distinct possibility that you are the one not getting it.

I always live it when players get beat and they fire the coach… you got 3 players who need the ball and play average defense on a good day - and Vogel is the issue????

Haha, well they got their fall guy, now those 3 have to pray they add some defense and size so they don’t have to be completely held accountable the second time around…

D'Antoni made it to west finals multiple times with Nash and that was during the stifling Spurs and Detroit defense era. Put him in this era when nobody is playing defense while have KD and Book lead their offense, forget about it. Plus you can always get defensive specialists for cheap nowadays. Draymond was technically playing center for 4 championship runs. He's barely 6'7. D'Antoni made this league what it is today. Having would've made perfect sense and hella fun. Oh and btw - next time you throw words like stupid and retrded, it reflects your level of maturity and your take. So what I'm basically saying is your points were really shallow and immature if you didn't catch my drift

okay r...et...ard...

The goal isn't to make it to the "Conference Finals." The goal is to win it all. His coaching method doesn't work, we've seen it time and time again, not sure why people don't understand that. Do you believe Antoni can lead this team to the Finals? No, he cannot we've been shown the furthest his team can go is Game 7 of WCF and will have you miss 27 straight 3's. So let's stop this foolishness of he would be the "right coach for this team."

Childish points. No substance.
