Bam Adebayo Eligible To Sign Three-Year, $165M Extension With Heat In Offseason

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu May 2, 2024 3:12 pm

Bam Adebayo will become eligible to sign a three-year, $165 million extension with the Miami Heat this offseason.

If Adebayo signs for his max, the new deal would begin with a $51.2 million salary in 26-27, when Adebayo will be 29 years old.

Adebayo signed a five-year, $164 million deal with the Heat in 2020.

If he makes All-NBA this year that goes to 183 over 3 years. Not that this website would ever bother to report on that.

$52.1M in 2026 season is equal to $36M in 2021, $23.1M in 2016.
33% of the cap. What a difference 5 years make. I think we are maybe 8 or 9 years away from seeing first player with $100M a year salary.

Can we thank Trump and Biden? Or is it just the FED that keeps printing dollars like they are toilet paper?

Biden technically doesn't need to print dollars, he gets he gets his money from China and Ukraine (and BlackRock). Kick-backs FTW. It's the Feds. It's their way of punting the national debt.
