Russell Westbrook wasn't happy about coming off the bench for the LA Clippers after the team acquired James Harden. In fact, Clippers front office executive Lawrence Frank had to convince Westbrook to take on the sixth-man role for LA.

Westbrook has a $4 million player option for next season. There's a good chance that the veteran point guard may decline that option to find a better opportunity elsewhere.

He’s Melo 2.0 he’ll have to humble beg a team to take him with his history of absolutely no success in the postseason. No media is out there reporting that teams with cap space are money to go after Wes or Harden, I’d be surprised if Wes went unsigned and Harden signs the vet minimum with a non contending team.

Never really was a Melo fan but at least he had a serviceable skill and ended up shooting well from beyond the arc on his final years.

Westbrick is everything you need to avoid. Turnovers, poor shooting, attempting to do more than you can.

If you need a former MVP or a current goon, you can have both in Russ.

Perhaps a bigger contract extension coming from the Clippers. I think he would play a nice back up role in Minnesota if they had the money. He can be good anywhere.. except the lakers

I could easily see this being leaked by someone in the Clipper organization. They don't want him to pick up the TO.

"He had to be talked into it by Lawrence Frank," doesn't seem like something Westbrook would put out their after originally saying that "he asked to come off the bench," according to Ty Lue.

I watched him about 50 times this year. I can't wrap my head around him having the skill to average 30 ppg just a few years ago.

He is good nowhere.. the lakers had 50mil in cap sowce tied up on westbrick so made it worse
