The NFL is expected to sell its Christmas doubleheader to Netflix. This will be the first time NFL games are broadcast on the streaming service.
The move doesn\'t necessarily mean Netflix could become a long-term partner with a consistent schedule of games. Netflix often likes to have one-off events such as last weekend\'s roast of Tom Brady.
Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday this year and the NFL\'s original intention was to not play on the day.
