Does anyone know when single game tickets go on sale?

No clue. Our first game isn't until May though, and my seasons haven't even arrived yet. With the BMO expansion, I don't think you'll have any issues getting tickets this year.

I was attempted to buy some cheap season tix this season but held off. What section are you in?

I'm in the Supporters section with the Red Patch Boys in 112. Have had seasons for a long time now and my tickets are ridiculously cheap ($190 this year) - 3 seasons ago they gave some of the long-time season ticket holders "first season" pricing which has been nice. I've spent more money on 7 Raptors games this year than my entire seasons package cost with TFC.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I think Toronto FC fans are in for a lot of exciting games this season.

Nice first game. Kinda reminds me of last season's first game...but who cares lol. Altidore is looking like freaking Diego Costa and Giovinco looks like he'll score for sure next game. I like it, other than Bradley playing so far back. Looks like a Bloody Big Deal.

I see why it reminds you of game one last season, It's hard for TFC fans to be hyped about the season.

We have all been let down too many times.

I can't say enough about the Jozy Altidore's first goal, a 32nd-minute equalizer that came after an eight-pass sequence that looked like this on the chalkboard:

Image

What gives this the Tiki-Taco flavor, however, is the way multiple TFC attackers were lined up at the top of the 18 all ready to curve past a defender and into the danger zone. That is how the Galaxy led the league in goals scored last season, and if there's a pattern to copy, this is it.

The second TFC goal, scored by Robbie Findley (!!!), was nearly as pretty. It came off a five-pass sequence, with the final one being a perfect cross from overlapping fullback Justin Morrow.

Two very different goals, but both created with precision and purpose against a very good team.

It looks like the original Toronto FC thread I started way back in 2008 has finally run it's course.

It was a wild ride, and it's nice this thread will end with the discussion of a big win against a Canadian rival.

Please continue the conversation in the new TFC thread here: viewtopic.php?f=450&t=1376855
