It's week 3 of the MLS season already. Chicago, Atlanta both currently sitting 2,3 in the conference. Should make for an excited game. Starts at 4pm.

That offense is really on fire.

Almiron's picking defenses apart with his passing and Martinez was a great loan for the season, scoring for fun.

Two sell outs in two home games. 10 goals scored against 1 conceded in two games, and one failed Almiron chip away from having 9 points out of 9. Great start out of the womb.

I normally only get into soccer when the world cup is rolling, but this team is way more fun to watch then the current Hawks. I will be heading out to catch a few games in person for sure.

Yup, they have been a lot of fun to watch. Much better than the average expansion franchise.

I wonder if they will be able to continue this way all season.

This team has been very exciting to was thus far.
The city of Atlanta has backed them greatly and I expect the team to have short-term success.

I think this team can take the MLS by storm. They will have the best stadium in the league, ambitious owner / management willing to pay for players / Great youth in their academy / good coach. The sky is the limit on and off the pitch.

Seattle will be their true big test. I'm staying up for this one.

Should be a great game, but Atlanta will be in tough tonight without Josef Martinez...

Though Seattle also has plenty of players out tonight too...

Both teams not at 100% but a point on the road against the defending MLS champions is a result I'd take every day of the week.

Hopefully we can continue weathering the storm on this road trip until Martinez comes back.

Back to back road points against the defending MLS cup and Eastern Conference champions without the league leading goal scorer. Get what you can in these road matchups, and win while you're at home.

Atlanta United is 10-0-2 in its last 12 home matches, is in the running for 2nd place in the East, and just became the first expansion side since 2009 to clinch a playoff spot.

The team that pegged itself to be anti-Atlanta just went full Atlanta in its first ever playoff showing. Doesn't take away from a stellar season, however.
