Re: Atlanta United FC Discussion Thread
What I don't know about this sport? EVERYTHING!
I do know, when I see the final score, which team won. That's about it. I'm just too old to begin to understand
all the rules and regulations. Sure, when I chance to watch and one side scores, I get that.
Now, the real point of this post and the reason I'm even posting here:
In all the other major league teams in Atlanta, many fans have moved to Big A from somewhere else and will
come watch the Atlanta team's games when "their" team is visiting. Sometimes, the opponent has as many
or more fans than the Atlanta. Remember, these fans grew up as fans for their home team. Their parents
and grandparents were fans. Then, they moved to Atlanta.
Atlanta United does not have this problem very much. How many fans have move here, being great fans
of one of the opponent? Nope. This sport, so popular outside the USA, is fairly new here. These fans who
converge on our own Atlanta United team quickly become Atlanta fans. This is so wonderful!

Expectations are sky high as they should be. This team is Atlanta's best chance to win something in the immediately future.

Atlanta is in for one hell of a season.
Atlanta, Toronto and the New York Red Bulls will be battling for 1st all season long I think. The East is going to be tough.

Houston handed Atlanta an ass kicking.
I didn't expect the results to be that bad for game one.

I'm not taking anything for granted, but man, that was a comprehensive ass kicking against a team that had completely owned them. Very, VERY impressive. Championship is right there for the taking.

I went to the parade, it was the first one I've ever experienced in my life and it was bliss. Can't wait to experience another one.

Re: Atlanta United FC Discussion Thread
I'm probably already 5 years sick for Atlanta United, this is one of my favorite teams. In May they will have a game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and my friends and I finally decided to go to Atlanta. At this stadium, we have never been, but already heard about it. Since they planned to go there more than once, but it did not work. We have already managed to find some information about hotels and bars that are located near the stadium in the article https://worldstadia.com/mercedes-benz-stadium.html In the reviews they recommend to stay at Motel 6 Atlanta Downtown, what can you say about this hotel like here ? As for bars, we are still undecided, as it is not known for how many days we will eat.
