People who ignore or dismiss the W are missing out on greatness. Wait til next year's draft class hits the ground running, this train isn't stopping.

As I'm watching a good game between my Liberty and the Mystics, I have a small complaint.

I wanna buy a pair of replica shorts because i love the Black and Teal gradient that the Liberty have on their away and home shorts...figured I'd get me a pair to lounge in and a pair to work out in....and i can't find them anywhere.

All of this is a work in progress so I'll wait patiently but it's a damn shame. I can buy Nets or Knicks shorts with no problems, but not the shorts of the best basketball squad in the city.

Yeah if you want WNBA merch, the league isn't going to help you with that. Anytime I've been inspired by a specific jersey or something (I really wanted one of those Indiana Fever Stranger Things jerseys from a couple seasons ago)...it's unavailable or something goes wrong with the website.

Any WNBA merch I have is always from an independent artist marketing their website through Instagram. A website called Playa Society has some solid team specific stuff.

Yeah i was curious to see if the league had at least the replica merchandise for women, and no deal. It's a shame. I guess I'll try my luck at Barclay's Center when i go to see Liberty vs Aces.

Still, this isn’t a good business model for the health of the entire league. Sure, when the Aces play the Liberty or Sun you get a lot of eyes, but you need to be pretty hard core to care about other games right now.

It’s like letting Duke or Kansas play in the SWAC or something.

If the Aces aren't playing someone in the top 4, you're right. It's a hard sell. It's like asking someone to watch Warriors vs Rockets

It also means we need more teams so that the talent can be spread around more.

I'm with you with the general concern, but I don't think we should look at the Aces as a superteam simply because an old Candace Parker signed with them.

It's the New York Liberty that are the superteam, and while they're doing pretty well, it's actually kinda heartening to me that the Aces don't just still look like the best, but look like the best by a good margin.

I think the alarm bells with the Aces are actually about the lottery system. The Aces' core was built by winning the lottery 3 years in a row. When a system lets that happen, you run the risk of a dynasty

They're holding their own against a pretty solid Atlanta team right now, but I'm finding myself looking up who's on the floor. No EDD, no Ariel Atkins, Shakira Austin. Just brutal.
