Caitlin Clark with the buzzer beating step-back logo three to beat Michigan State. Great shot, but to be fair, it was a tie game and the Iowa logo is very large:
In sadder news, one of my new favorite players, Rori Harmon of Texas, is out for the year with a torn ACL.

Ash Watkins throws it down
Get used to it. Dunks will be a regular part of the game over the next 10 years

Now in its 25th year, the award recognizes the top point guard in women’s NCAA Division I college basketball. To be considered for this prestigious award, candidates must exhibit the floor leadership, playmaking, and ball-handling skills of Class of 1996 Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lieberman.

Least suspenseful award ever this year. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

JuJu Watkins with 51 points (out of her team's 67) in a road conference win over number 4 ranked Stanford.
Four players scored for USC in the game. JuJu had 51 on 14-26 overall, 6-11 from three, and 17-19 from the line. One other player had 12 points (on 5-18 shooting) and two other players had 2 points each. No other player went to the line for USC the whole game. USC still won by 9.

South Carolina is just flat out dominant on both ends. UCONN looks outclassed and PaoPao is burning down the rim from deep

I'm becoming a huge fan of Hannah Hidalgo. She's super quick, super disruptive on defense, gets where she wants to on offense, has a diverse scoring bag, and is an unselfish and creative playmaker. Plus, she brings a really joyful, positive, high energy vibe to the game.

What a game.
Cardoso is now unable to play in Round 1 of the NCAAW tournament because of this.

The Woman's tourney was exciting last year too.
But this year, the star power of the higher seeds will lead to some insane match ups.

Agreed I'm genuinely going to pay more attention to the women's bracket. They have all the star power this year. The matchups are heated as well real rivalries LSU vs USC was pretty intense.

That was some physical hoops yesterday and i loved every second of it. Watching Reese and Cardoso battle in the post was awesome, I'm glad the refs allowed the play to be chippy.

Having LSU and Iowa in the same bracket is kind of questionable decision making by the committee
