Supposedly, the Russian club Khimki Moscow Region, which has one of the largest budgets in the EuroLeague, is considering signing both of the younger Ball brothers.
However, it should be noted that they are said to be considering signing them as players in the club's reserve team, called Khimki Podmoskovye Region, which plays in Russia's 2nd tier level league. Players that play in the reserve team can be called up to the senior men's team, if they perform very well in the reserve team.
To put this into perspective, this is a lower level than the Lithuanian senior men's basketball league (LKL) that they had played in this past season. Although the men's senior team of Khimki is a club that plays in the senior VTB United League and the EuroLeague, which are both much higher levels than the LKL.
Unlike their club in Lithuania, that was very poor, Khimki has one of the largest budgets in Europe, so they would probably make a lot more money than they did in Lithuania. However, unlike in Lithuania, where they were able to get some playing time on the men's team in the men's league, it would be much harder for them to get any playing time in Khimki's A team.

B team...
I'd take it if I were them... They aren't getting a better chance elsewhere.

With the UCLA one, did he just realize his son was going to be a bench rider his entire tenure there and was embarrassed by that prospect? So pulling him out of school was a way to prevent the "branding" of his kid being a bench rider?

Not sure if they'll ever be as great as they are hyped but at least their daddy won't be in control.
