After opening two rounds:
Biggest disappointment: France, medalist contender already out
Dark horse: Germany, temporarily without a best player, beat Australia
The most missing player: It is not Jokic for Serbia nor Giannis for Greece, they will be back in 2024 for the Paris Olympics. It is Paulo Banchero for Italy! With him, they would have a bright future for the next 10+ years but now everything is questionable.
PROJECTED SEMIFINAL from today's point of view: Serbia - Germany and USA - Canada

Latvia was the biggest surprise to reach QF while Germany reached SF, but both countries deserved it.
