Against Lithuania, you have to be able give their coach a reason to sub out Valanciunas. If you can't punish him defensively, he just gets to hang out their, do his thing, and completely obliterate your frontline with his physicality. Slovenia has looked helpless against Valanciunas' strength in so many situations tonight.

Got to take advantage of his lack of quicks, or get him in foul trouble. If you can't, it's a long night and you're probably not going to win.

Yup, you like the passion. You like how he competed when it was close, but when that lead blew to big double digits, you have to be smarter than that. It’s a no-bearing of all non-bearing games, Olympic spots have been decided, even the OQT spots are virtually set, it just does not make sense both for the NT and his club.

As for tomorrow’s final four…

Serbia is now +5.5 vs Canada and the Americans are still -10.5 favorites over Germany.

Thoughts? Leaning Serbia spread, this will be a close one but with a Canada win. Then US spread, thinking they have learned their lesson vs Lithuania and that Germany warmup game where they went down 16 pts but came back for the win.

Is there any importance of the standings after 1-3 ? It appeared Luka almost got injured at the end. Made no sense being in the game with 20 pts down and 2 mins left.

Betting on Canada games seems like complete gambling tbh. Their highs and lows vary do much and are very unpredictable, at least to me

He had, i believe 19 pts at the half. So that was a bad bet from the start.
