As for tomorrow’s final four…

Serbia is now +5.5 vs Canada and the Americans are still -10.5 favorites over Germany.

Thoughts? Leaning Serbia spread, this will be a close one but with a Canada win. Then US spread, thinking they have learned their lesson vs Lithuania and that Germany warmup game where they went down 16 pts but came back for the win.

Betting on Canada games seems like complete gambling tbh. Their highs and lows vary do much and are very unpredictable, at least to me

As a Canadian I can confirm . I don't know which Canadian team will show up next. The one against Slovenia was a pleasant surprise.

I swear it is not because of recent debacle, or any other narrative. Its world cup, winner is world champion, might as well highlight it, but I didnt really intend to make a statement. Personally, I am not American, to me NBA champions calling themselves World champs was always stupid, but they call their national Baseball playoffs "World series'', so thats just how that culture is.

To **** over my under 26.5 points bet. I don’t know what on earth that coach is thinking playing him the entire second half in a meaningless game on a back-to-back as they’re getting blown out.

He had, i believe 19 pts at the half. So that was a bad bet from the start.

He also had 26 with 0:35 left in the game. So if he'd been taken out at any remotely reasonable point I would have won. I did win on Lithuania ML, Lithuania -6.5, Slovenia under 84.5 points, and Luka under 39.5 points+rebounds+assists though, so I can't really complain too much.

Oh did not notice he sucked that bad in the 2nd half. i was scared of the Over Luka bet i completely avoided it pregame. But yeah that Lithuania spread was too easy after halftime hopefully we get similar luck in later tonight's final four.

i got Serbia +5.5 and USA -10.5. Not sure on the latter yet but should lock those spread bets early before the line changes.

He's been a non player for several years, up until just this tournament. I am sure teams are being cautious because of that. Remember all the talk last year about Ponitka being the best player in Europe in this forum during EuroBasket?

It doesn't mean that he can't be a good signing for someone, it just means that big EuroLeague teams are not jumping to give someone a contract for just having a couple weeks of good play in their whole career.
