Wonder what are the odds he gets shut down for the rest of the season after the ankle scare. Think he just made the 65 game quota so he should easily get 3rd place for ROY unless media wants to be cutesy with Lively votes.

Doesn't help now he is doubled when he catches the ball

Standing next to George and earlier this season lebron James. Miller is definitely 6'8/ 6'9 like those 2.

My pipedream was us signing PG this offseason. I know it's not realistic, but man that would make me the happiest man alive.

PG is my favorite player btw.

Paul George measured 6'8.75" in shoes at the draft combine so Brandon is definitely in the 6'8"/6'9" ballpark. On another note, they must have measured heights differently back in 6'9" Mitch Kupchak's day since he's clearly taller standing next to Brandon.

Most adults lose inches of their height as they age.

“There’s a lot of similarities... the ability at his size just to put the ball in the ground, his handle, his movement, and just the fluidity. I feel like that’s how I play the game at my size. Just being fluid on the court and making the game look easy and effortless. That’s the similarity I do see in Brandon’s game.”

If LaMelo is watching closely (he must be), I think Miller leads the Hornets in scoring next season. He will become option #1 and a favorite target of LaMelo, Topic, Micic and Mann.

I hate to see this dude with a extra 15-20 pounds on his frame. Playing through contact is probably his main weakness right now. Pretty soon those drives to the basket will be And 1's as he gets stronger.

We got a special one and I pray they put a winner around this kid.

He's really great in the open court. I didn't see it in his tape coming into the draft. Very fluid with and without the ball, moving, catching in motion, dribbling, converting with a set plan most of the time.

I'm off my rocker when I'm thinking he can average 23 ppg on good percentages next year? Maybe slightly more. 10 to 15 pounds of muscle could unlock a near Tatum level imo.

23ppg will be tough if Melo is healthy, even tougher if both Melo and miles play. Melo will still be #1 option next year, if/when he plays.

It will be tough with Melo/Miles in the lineup together.

I think we see 20ppg. Eventually down the line I think he has potential to be a top 5 scorer.

higher chance that Miller averages 23ppg than Melo plays 23 games

This kid has had some nice ankle breakers and poster dunks this season. I remember people saying his handle and athleticism were a weakness coming into the draft.

Miller is a special talent. I'm sorry for the rest of the league when this kid fully develops his skills and develops his man body. It's just a matter of time before he puts it all together.

Evidently ESPN has him... 5th in their rookie rankings.
