I like that we got a young guy who can actually fill out the rotation for the rest of the season. It has been painful watching our lineups. I didn't expect much for for Gordo, so my expectations were low.

If we can somehow wrangle Poku as well, or someone else semi-useful, that would be be great.

Thunder are sending guard Vasilije Micic, Davis Bertans, Mann and draft compensation to Hornets as part of the Gordon Hayward deal, sources said.

So we're receiving three players and trading one. What two players are we cutting from this roster tomorrow? Bouk and mensah?

Wasn't expecting Hayward to get traded.

Bertans can shoot the 3. Mann is probably better than Ish.

Seems like a even swap if you ask me.

Micic... what's his deal? He's got 2 years left at 7.7 Mil.

Mensah is on 2way so he isn't a candidate to get cut.

Seems like the FO is trying to get some cheap young players with upside for next season instead of hoarding the cap space.

Makes sense, the FA class is pretty uninspiring and no one is worth the markup we'd have to pay as a small market team.

I also wonder if Gordo ultimately returns this summer on the cheap, if the earlier reports of his family wanting to stay in the area are true.

Yeah 2.5 years, but the last year is TO. Could be a nice contract to reflip to contender at some point.

exactly the kind of trade they should be making. a lot of focus on Tre Mann which tells me he's the real get in this deal. I know nothing about him so I'm excited to see what he's got to offer.

Micic is a solid veteran backup PG

I remember Diop saying in November we should trade for him

Micic and Mann are massive improvements over Ish and McGowens

Sad that OKCs bottom players are starters here, but this is where we are at

How is Mann different from the other shoot first defense last combo guards we've brought in over the past years under mitch?

So are these guys actually decent depth pieces?

So now we go from “nobody but Frank” to being PG packed; Mann is a good get and Micic is a deep reserve 30 year old rookie with 2 years at $7M per remaining.

So how we changing the culture by adding more young players?

We need a stable vet in the locker room.
