There's no way I'd be trading Mann over NSJ

Who would you rather trade in a deal like this? Mann or NSJ? I'm not sure I wouldn't say trade NSJ and keep Mann.

Either one.

They'd probably want NSJ more, but I'd be fine with either. I like both, I think Mann offers more defensive upside though

So you rank Mann over NSJ as a prospect then? Or did you mean the other way around?

Draft strategy

Target Topic

If Spurs (said to love him) draft ahead of Charlotte, pivot to Stephon Castle and trade Micic to Spurs as mentor to Topic for a C2.

Interesting matching possibility...

Micic - 7.7 million
Zach Collins - 7.7 million

Hornets depth at PG and C is the #1 glaring issue. The struggles on offense didn't happen under JB and with LaMelo healthy.

PG depth

LaMelo - Mann - Castle - Martin

C depth

Mark - Z. Collins - Nick

Targeting Zach 'cristal' Collins is some sort of a joke, right ? :D

I'D rather see the Hornets gamble on Valanciunas or on Clarke (for different reasons) if he rehab'd well enough. And i would keep an eye on Tillman since Celtics cant really overpay to keep him

Let us not live in the past. Collins has played in 61 games this year. He's a whole one week older than Nick Richards. Yet 10 years wiser.

I'd like to see what it would take to trade for trey Murphy or herb Williams. 1 of those 1sts we got and nsj might be able to pull one.

Mavs just cut Dwight Powell, no reason not to pick him up for big depth if he's available.

Seriously, what would it take to pry Aaron Wiggins from OKC? Solid off-ball threat and defensive pest stuck on the Thunder bench like some of our new guys used to be, team option coming up this summer.

Well since we are the OKC G-League team, we just need them to send him on down

Anybody watch the Pelicans/Lakers game tonight?

Ingram was benched and had bad body language on the bench.

Will Charlotte show interest in the NC kid again this offseason?

No interest in Ingram, the only NC kid I want to bring home is a 4 time NBA champion and former MVP on a team going nowhere.

With Brandon, it makes no sense to trade for Brandon.

Now... with GS getting their butts kicked I'd totally trade our 1st for Steph.

Steph to Charlotte is not out of the question. He said in the past we are the only other team he would consider playing for.

I think we would have to offer some ownership stake to get him interested though. He probably wants to come with Draymond as well who knows.

Steph/Miller backcourt could be Splash Bros 2.0

they'd ask for Ball and a 1st. They aren't trading their poster boy unless he demands it.

Yeah I don't really think Ingram is the type of player we need, he is a tough shot taker and mostly finesse. I feel like that is Miller and LaMelo to some degree, we need more guys who just win on pure athleticism, strength and size who can bring up our physicality and defensive energy.

Why I still really like Holland, Okoro, Castle, Suggs types for our team.

I don't want to trade LaMelo by any means... but I make the exception for Steph

I would trade Ball and this years pick for Steph, no problem.

As much as I love watching Lamelo play ball, I'd jump at trading for Stef, how fun would that be.

Then draft Topic to run point.

I wonder if there's a market for Bertans' expiring contract? And what (if anything) we'd have to give up to swap him for someone like DeAndre Hunter. If we could pull off a trade like that and sign a decent veteran big man like Goga Bitadze we'd have real depth next season.

LaMelo/Micic/Curry
Miller/Mann/Smith
Hunter/Martin/Draft Pick
Bridges/Williams
Williams/Bitadze/Richards
