Everyone on our board is blaming Bynum for his stupidity and thats as far as were going cause thats what it was a stupid late play by Bynum, nothing more nothing less.

But anyways, as a Laker fan and a true friend I do regret this ever happening and believe me when I saw Wallace go down, I said to myself, I hope his not hurt and I kept saying come on man get up, and after wards when I heard he was hurt this bad I was very disapointed.
Best of Luck and my prayers are with him and your team.

Not true. Already have seen "weel done, Drew" type of comments.

I appreaciate it. But we both know you are not acting as a prototpye and average Lakers fan on this one. Just to make it clear - my lifted eyebrows (to say the least) about Lakers (fans more than players really) are not based on this Bynum accident.

He tried to contest the shot of a much taller player that can jump higher than him, and what resulted was a pathetic attempt that got called a flagrant. And if Morrison "took down" Gasol, Gasol wouldn't have easily made the dunk. As we learned from the majority of that game, Gasol ain't exactly the type to respond well to physical play.

It's comical that someone would criticize Morrison's foul, at the same time they are defending Bynum's.

Take your homer ass back to wherever you came from.

Thanks, that was very kind of you to say that specially after I made my intentions very clear.
Take care.
Actually if things were reversed and this discussion was on Lakers board, this kind of respond - as last sentence of Ham's comment is - would be one of the more polite answers there from LAL fans no matter the approach (check the relevant thread there).

The whole Breath on a player and foul thing should have been in a new paragraph.

"read those fools" lol. Funny being it's coming from a Blazer fan.
Troll on your board or Blazers board, we don't care about LAL-POR wars enough to have it here. Thanks.

Pity the HoF thread is pretty much reserved for only really funny posts because this is HoF worthy - but for all the wrong reasons.

Just to get this straight: It's NOT Bynum's fault that Crash has a fractured rib and a collapsed lung - right? It's not his fault he jammed his shoulder, elbow and forearm into Crash as he was fully exposed and in the air - right?

I guess it was Crash's fault.

Awesome post.

I was saying he is a troll everytime. Yoiu didn't listen...

Also this is worth to mention:
All I want to know also is when is he coming back.

i bet every real Bobcats fan care more about Gerald than our immediate results, at least right now.

I've been reading the same three things as you doc and have been as equally disgusted. The outcome aside, for people to suggest that:

1. Crash shouldn't drive so hard at the hoop
2. Crash has an injury history so he must be brittle
3. It wasn't the hit that hurt Crash the most, it was the floor

Is totally insane IMO.

All I really don't get is the "he was trying to wrap him up" suggestion... look at the picture, you can't possibly miss so badly trying to wrap someone up, it was obviously a hit.

Guys, let it rest! What does Bynum being suspended have to do with our team anyway?

Lets focus on how we are going to fill the SF position for the next month and who will guard Melo tonight. We are still in playoff range, lets not screw this up

blazer fan here...I'm glad to hear GW is progressing well. I think a lot of people just weren't aware of how serious a collapsed lung is, even without any puncture. My brother had a collapsed lung after a fall he took he says it was several months before he felt whole again. Of course he isn't a world-class athlete.

On the bright side, if GW has to wait for medical clearance to fly. LA isn't the worst place to wait in January. He could be stuck in Minneapolis or OKC.

BTW, I've always had a pretty okay time in Charlotte, so I'm not trying to **** on the city. Just seemed like an obvious set up and better one of us knocked it out than one of them.

Awesome post.

You know what I mean your just being a d**k about it. I am saying he made a hard foul, and clearly didn't intend to callapse his lung and bruise his rib. What do you think he did say Im gonna send a message by putting him in the hospital? Have you seen the Celtics play? This could of happened to anybody who gives hard fouls and a guy like Crash is prone to this stuff just like Wade and Manu. Ever see the Wade commercials get knocked down 6x and get up 7?
I even went as far as to say Bynum should be suspended and you still mock me even though your a mod and are sopposed to set an example and say it's a hall of fame stupid post.

Now just in case you were wondering (although your probably not your probably looking and seeing how can I pick this apart and make fun of it instead of listening) is because unlike the 80's were this would have been just another play the guys in this league are high flyers and super athletic. In the 80's there was maybe 5-10 maybe 15 guys who could be in the dunk contest per year. Now there's probably 30-80 or something insane, So many players play above the rim with alot of athletism. If you foul these guys while there in the air you can seriously hurt them. I know it was a pick but it's sets a presidence that you can't foul so hard. You can't hurt guys and even if you don't mean it fully if the result is a serious injury you have to pay.

Now if that is so stupid that a mod (what does it take to be a mod around here) is acting like this and putting people down then maybe Im nuts but it makes perfect sence to me.

I mean... you said it wasn't Bynum's fault that Crash got injured, that is a stupid thing to say. The fact that the rest of your post was not stupid does not make that statement less stupid.

It was clear what I was trying to say. Because I wasn't be so literal and said it wasn't his fault when I meant that as he didn't mean to hospitalize him that makes him hall of fame stupid worthy? Come on, he was trying to make me look stupid for no reason. Did you not understand what I was trying to say or do you think it was a hall of fame stupid thing to say?
