Terry 470th in the NBA this year in defensive rating. Of players who play, only PJ Washington, Kyle Kuzma, Jordan Poole, Bojan Bogdanovic, Tyus Jones, and Obi Toppin are worse

Really disappointing because in Boston he was one of the better defensive guards in the NBA
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

I’m sure if he went to a contender and was told to tighten up, he would.

He needs all his energy to carry the offense at the moment

Says a lot about the quality of this franchise that, after 34 seasons, Raymond **** Felton is 8th in scoring

David Wesley is 9th, btw, and Gerald Henderson rounds out the top 10 lol

4th, 5th, 6th in franchise rebounding leaders are Zeller, Bismack, and MKG.

LJ is 6th in franchise assists, Batum 7th, Brevin Knight 8th.

10 times to the playoffs in 34 years. Never made it out of the semis. Our sister teams Orlando and Miami have 16 and 24 appearances, respectively, in the same time frame. OKC has as many PO appearances as we do AFTER moving to OKC in 08-09.

TBF, Jameer Nelson is 5th in Orlando career points (and 10th in rebounds!), Evan Fournier is 8th. Elfrid Payton in 7th in assists.

Glen Rice is 3rd in Miami points despite only playing 6 seasons, Rony Seikaly 6th (also 6 seasons), Bam Adebayo is 7th is assists.

Defensive rating when comparing across the entire league is a pretty useless stat. Bad defenders on good defensive teams are going to look better than any defender on a bad defensive team by default.

Hence why KAT is top 20 and the bottom 20 is only wizards, hornets, spurs, pistons and pacers.

Much better to compare to guys within the same defense or at least to teams in a similar range.

So yeah Terry on the Wolves or Magic probably has a top 100 defensive rating by default. Not saying he is a good defender but playing on a bottom 3 defensive team and thinking that tells the full story is pretty misleading.

Ok that’s it I’ve had enough. Trade Terry. I don’t even care what we get anymore. He’s a net negative despite his stats. He dribbles the hell out of the ball, does not make smart basketball decisions, slows down our offense eliminating any rhythm and easy shots and offers absolutely nothing defensively. Cody Martin is a better fit next to LaMelo tbh.

Just trade him for warm bodies.

I'm actually pretty paranoid we won't move him or make any moves by the deadline. That would be preposterous considering our record and situation. But Mitch has slept through like 5 trade deadlines and 3 straight off-seasons.

Wasn’t a huge amount of team success but Rozier definitely played well in Charlotte. How do you rank him compared to previous guards?

SJax maybe slightly ahead due to his defense and size, though Rozier probably the best clutch scorer I’ve seen here. Kemba was obviously better overall but it felt like Rozier hit more winners when given the chance.

1a Kemba
1b Melo

3 Jackson
4 Terry
5 Jason Richardson (better than Terry IMO, but not enough longevity)

20 years of Horncats and that's about it as far as top 100 players in the league guards go. Rough to think about

That’s pretty much what I was thinking, unless you go back to Eddie Jones/gill time, call rice a small forward?

Raja bell ahead of hendo, then Carroll for our bottom tier?

All of the positions look like this through the Bobcats - next gen Hornets era.

But also, how could you forget Raymond Felton???

They posted of short vid of Terry saying goodbye to the fellas and it was pretty touching.

What's best for the team aside, I am happy we put Terry in the situation he is happiest in. Was a durable professional for these past 4 years and closest thing we had to vet leader. Hope he kicks Boston's butt this May

**** ridiculous. I'll take the trade, but the takes this year on most posters were ridiculous and damn near shameful.

It's apparently his ankle he's hurt. There didn't look much in it but he looked in pain.
Hopefully it's not too bad
