Not sure why we'd do that in this thread?

Because he is the guy that many of the people wanted over Bouk? Are we going to act like they aren't worthy of being mentioned in same sentence haha

in that case: Sengun with 33pts, 16rebs, 6 assists and 4 blocks against the Lebrons today. That was my choice.

Moody being bad doesn't make Bouknight less bad.

The real miss was Sengun. He'd be our 2nd best player easily.

I'm looking at that draft and really picks 9-14 look like busts - Davion, Ziare, Bouk, Primo, Duarte, and Moody. You could also throw in 5th pick Suggs and 7th pick Kuminga. That 2021 draft isn't looking nearly as good as people thought it would

Suggs is nothing close to a lost cause. He is a decent playmaker, is tough (good defender) and he has hit numbers of clutch shots for Gonzaga. Nothing close to, say, some MCW profile. At worst i 'd say he's G. hill level from his Indiana time.

Others otoh are quite invisible (or worst, visible for their mistakes/failure).

Sengun is doing stats in a losing team. I still got to see him perform at the highest level and show the toughness i expect from a good big. Last game we had against him during Eurobasket kinda confirmed my thoughts.
He needs another athletic big to do the dirty job to perform. If the nba was not the joke defensively it has become (inside the paint), i doubt he would even be mentioned here.
At best, he's some Kevin Love level for the turkish. I have a much higher opinion of Osman (and maybe on Bona who could be a decent 2nd rounder this year).

Serbs have the eq. with Petrusev (drafted by Philly in the 2nd round and considering how he is performing in the EL, he should be in the nba pretty soon).

Just seemed random to pop over into the Bouk thread and in response to nothing in particular be like "can we talk about Moses Moody's spot in GSW's rotation"

Minus the alleged "incident" my Primo pick coming all the way from the 2nd round wasn't that bad lmao

I wouldn't say random from my point of view, I was looking at stats and realizing that Anthony Lamb, Donte Divencenzo, Ty Jerome are all playing ahead of him and it reminded me of Theo, Dennis Smith and Martin playing over Bouk.

I am not trying to rub it in any Moody fan's faces, just making a note.

As Linus said, a ton of busts were picked and the only real winner picks have been Sengun and Murphy between picks 8-20. Yikesssss. I know Sengun had fans on the board, but we are talking a dart throw if 2/12 guys were worth picking in that range. Okc actually traded the pick to Houston on draft night, that feels worse than us passing on him somehow lol

Other names I remember being floated on the draft board in the month leading up to the draft.
Cam Thomas, Isiah Jackson, Jayden Springer and Garuba. Wouldn't be much better.

It sucks Bouk and Kai haven't worked out, but does make me feel better so many other teams are struggling to find real performers in this draft as well.

Bouk got ejected from a Swarm game for shoving a dude to the ground while the game was going on.

Just release him. Not worth having around anymore.

Bouknight's a joke. The guy is doing everything he can to be playing in Taiwan next year, if he gets an offer overseas at all.

Agreed, McGowens has earned a roster spot. It's time to give it to him and move on from Bouknight, he just doesn't have it mentally to make it in the league.

I think they picked up his option already so his contract next season is guaranteed. If they wanted to completely cut ties they would probably try to give him away first.

what a shame, this guy had some skills buried under all the bad decision making and crappy attitude but it is very unlikely to work out at this point

It is a dumb play, but honestly expected the video to be much worse.

Yeah, watch the video before passing judgment on that one. It was a bit of a push, but more like just running through a guy. Definitely seen worse.

I'm all for cutting Bouk loose for his overall **** attitude and past behavior though. If he wasn't a well-known jerk this would not stick out so much.

I actually don't mind this. We are a team full of softies and have zero attitude on the court. Probably why we got murdered the last two play-in games.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles
