My primary beef with Cliff is he will always roll with vets over prospects and this year seems like a campaign where we'll need to lean on giving our prospects a chance (namely Bouk, Kai, Williams) since we didn't add any veteran help.

If we hire Cliff and he ends up having Plumlee out there getting dominated all game while Kai and Williams rot I will be so demoralized.

How about he worry about playing accountable basketball and focus on improving his game before worrying about what the FO is doing.

Kid has been in the league for a second. Let's not put the cart before the horse here. Find a coach that might help amplify his strengths and develop his weaknesses? Sure. But him have a say in who the coach is? Pfffffssstttt.

I vehemently disagree. Players like LaMelo should have more say than anyone outside the owner and GM. You finally got a Ferrari and now you're not gonna take advantage of it?

Like seriously, the moves made this offseason could end up being letting Miles Bridges (LaMelo's best friend) go and hiring a coach (Clifford) who emphasizes discipline and half-court offense (LaMelo's least-favorite approach). Yeah, that's how you do it, alright...

They can’t seriously do this. We had historically bad end of game execution and that’s where the differe fr is between wins and losses and playoffs or no playoffs. We need a coach who can harness the makeup of this roster. It’s MDA, stop screwing around and for the love of God make an offer.
