Probably more playoff wins than we have in the last 20 years

The NBA is by far the most talented it has ever been, along with having a decent bit of parody.

We still have SGA, Ant, Jokic, Brunson, KAT, Haliburton, Siakam, Tatum, Brown, Porzingis, Paolo, Donovan, Luka, Kyrie still in the playoffs. Having two good players doesn't guarantee you anything like it did 10 years ago.

A lot of those guys were in their mid to late 30's and most of the rest missed multiple games with injury or were playing on one leg. It's not too surprising really.

I love Josh Hart and like Brunson, but damn the ending or that game. Let the players play.

I'm with you, hate when refs interfere with the way a game ends and that Myles Turner call was crap.

I don't think I've ever seen someone as tough and playing with as much heart as Josh Hart, dude is unbelievable.

I also can't believe how clutch Brunson is. That Knicks offense is embarrassing, so stagnant and such limited shooters, but Brunson carries that team like no one should be able to.

Imagine if the Mavs would've given Brunson that initial contract he wanted. I can't remember but it was what like only 60 million? I don't even know if it was that. What a massive blunder good lord.

See, **** like this pisses me off. They give a moving screen which happens 30 times a game a foul with 12 seconds a game but don't eject that. The officiating is ridiculous and promoting gambling (which I like) is a problem.

;ab_channel=NBA

I dunno, i think the refs tried to play it neutral, Knicks had to challenge a call to get it overturned.

They just got suckered into that screen call. I think they should clamp down on illegal screens as unfair advantage, but they rarely do

Have we interviewed someone from the Wolves for the coaching job? Ask them what they did at least to make their guys play like this. Honestly thought of Kong against the biplanes watching Jokic get swarmed here.

That's called defensive effort. something we haven't seen in Charlotte since Crash was around

I mean...we were consistently a top 5 defense during Cliff's first tenure.

ETA: hm, looked it up and probably more accurate to say top 10, looks like the highest we hit was 6th.

Disingenuous stat pulling at it's finest

A team giving big minutes to Al Jeff, Kemba, McBob, and featured guys like Ramon Sessions and Gary Neal.

Let's please not pretend like the two are similar

Last night was a classic Round 1 of a boxing match where the Champ comes in fat and realizes he isn't a god. Denver got punched in the mouth, and instead of taking it and just moving to the next play they decided to cry to refs about it all the way from Jokic to Murray to KCP to Mike Malone himself. They need to go watch the film and realize how soft they were being and just play or otherwise their season is over.

Also thought Minnesota put a ton of a pressure on the refs all night with constant constant pressure and the refs let a lot of stuff go because you can't call a foul every play.

If they were in fact a top 5 defense I'm not sure how that would've been disingenuous?

Nah yeah, for sure, it's totally similar and I'm sure it accounts for things like pace and stats relative to the mean and all that. I'm sure there's also clips of Kemba and McBob swarming guys like Jokic and Murray in a playoff level environment.
