So how do you fix the problem with the page? Everything in a longer sentence gets cut off completely. WTF?

It looks so ugly now. And it's a hell of a lot slower. Most likely due to that stupid moving slides box that you have to scroll pass every time you click on a page.

Bring back the old format.

I didn't even mention that there's no quick reply feature anymore.

It's just completely terrible all around.

I hope whoever changed it has enough sense to change it back to the way it was.

Here's another "wonderful" feature of this unnecessary "upgrade": say you are reading a thread and want to reply, but you realize you aren't logged in. Well you can just click on login, right? Sure, and then you're taken to the main listing for ALL forums. So now say you just highlight your back arrow and select the page of the thread so you don't have to click on the sport forum, then the team forum, then the thread, then the page of the thread (stupid, stupid, stupid). Hmm...still doesn't show you're logged in. Oh, we'll hit refresh for the login to take. Nope, that doesn't freaking work. It still wants you to login...even though you already did. What a stupid, stupid, cumbersome upgrade. These boards suck major ass.

Don't mind colour scheme adn font sizes as much as others seem to, but the rest is pretty horrific:

1. If having to log in, brings you back to realgm home adn then you have to go through too many screens to get to this.

2. Having to submit ten times and then it does not appear anyway. (Especially frustrating when I need to vent my frustration over the *&^% Celtics winning it all.)

3. Lay-out of boxes keeps changing while on the same page, usually cutting off lines, needing to scroll over, etc.

4. Icons showing threads visited/posted is far too busy and confusing.

5. Bruised ego after having been demoted from coach to senior.

it is extremely slow. this has got to be changed asap.

i sense the NYK board slowing down because of this. usually it's more active.

I definitely like this upgrade. The layout is cleaner and easier on the eyes. I think some people do not like change but as they get used to this new layout, they will appreciate the new look.

Wow, I just tried using this new layout on the IE browser for the first time just to take a look (I live and die FF), and there is a big difference... two things jumped out at me:

1.) The "sign up" date runs INTO the message
2.) You don't see the full post.. don't know how to explain it, but the right border cuts off any text from each post
3.) ad-galore! (no adblock on IE)
