Actually its the PHoenix Suns and not the Kings that have made the blunder. They had first shot at Luka and everyone said they should take Luka. The Suns took Ayton. Then, when they absolutely needed a point guard and the fans and expectations were that the Suns would take Haliburton the Suns took Smith, another crappy big.

Well the thread definitely won't affect the outcome of the series, it's just that if the outcome of the series goes a different direction, the thread will not age as well as the OP might have envisioned.

Ok but Luka went 3 not 2, and Kings could have also had him but chose Marvin Bagley, then Atlanta traded down with Dallas for an extra first round pick and gave Dallas Luka and took Trae Young at 5. So all 3 teams missed out on Luka he was there for the taking, not just Phoenix.

Not drafting Luka was the big mistake. Do the Kings make the WCF this year if they have Haliburton instead of Sabonis? Do they play him with Fox? What kind of trade value did Fox have in 2022?
