Playoff Tatum 23.7 ppg 7.8 rebound 4.6 assists
Playoff Paul 21.2 ppg 7.5 rebound 4.1 assists

Pretty similar numbers. Both numbers are down from regular season if you remove George's regular season where he only played 6 games and averaged 8.8 ppg.

yeah that’s why the michael jordan of paul george’s doesn’t hit the same. they’re too similar in terms of peak and performance, just saying lol

So maybe Tatum is just the Paul George of Paul George's.

Hes basically Paul George just probably a bit more offensive oriented and a bit less in defense.

Hes more of a second option scorer type of player who can provide good defense but he needs a high IQ, leader, consistent first option to win a championship.

Were you assigned to decide how many bad takes there are in a thread?

What are your takes so we can judge them.

Never fails to amaze me when people think they can make these kinds of demands around here.

At any rate read the thread before you do they are there.

Well add some opinions to the thread then, don't just complain about other people's takes. You've added zero. How is that better?

What are you, a broken record? Go find them yourself and stop making demands of me or better yet, just get away from me altogether ffs.

I thought this was incredibly mature and intelligent response from JT last night and media and criticism and haters. Apparently some people want to punch him in the face just for existing but I'm proud and thankful to have a great player on my team who happens to not be a meathead.

Said this last week too:

the hate for him is weird. he's a pretty intelligent humble person that handles criticism pretty well and has improved his game every year. i guess it's cause he's on a very good boston team and people want to see him/boston fail. i dont know.

i do know on the knicks board a lot of the people that hate him are the same ones that wanted to draft frank ntilikina over him. lol

Real ones know 3headtomelo has been a day 1 Tatum fan. You’ll be the only Knicks fan we let on the duck boats come June 8-)

This is the weakest Eastern conference in a long time. Too much injuries, Celtics have a free lane to the Finals.

He averaged 30ppg last season and you think he should be a second option?

He went to game 6 of the NBA finals as the #1 option at age 24.

I find it extremely hard to follow this kind of logic.

When did LeBron faced multiple injury riddled teams?

2017 both the Raptors and Celtics had key players injured.

In 2018 the East was flat out garbage and the Cavs fell over the line against a Celtics team missing Kyrie and Hayward.

Injuries definitely having a bigger impact this season but the East from 2013-2018 was a legit joke.

Tatum is currently a top 50 player all time in playoff scoring and will almost certainly end up finishing in the top 15-20 range. This is a dumb thread

Role players are the same as missing Butler and Mitchell? That Celtics team also played better when Kyrie was out.

They sure could have done with his offence in game 7 of the ECF
