So don't make any adjustments. Just pray for luck. Darvin Ham, is that you?

Not sure what to expect.

On one hand, Minnesota punching back feels due. On the other hand, Denver hasn't had ONE good home game all post season.

Are they really going to go 0-3 at home to start this one? Not only is Ant due for an avg game, but Denver is due for a home win.

Kind of expecting a Denver blowout here.

He had it in Game 3 when he shot 8/15 for 19 points. I don't know if we'll see another this series. I am rooting for the Nuggets, though, so I hope we do!

Well tbf last game MPJ was far below average. And same with Murray so if AG regresses to the mean hopefully it will balance out with better games from KCP and MPJ who played below average

Wolves +4.5. Ugh, i don’t know what to expect anymore this series. Too scared to bet against Jokic and yet can’t believe that this Wolves team have forgotten how to beat the Nuggets after those two dominating opening games?

Might have to sleep on this first before making a decision. LOL

To me he is the third best player in the NBA - Luka and Embiid are comfortably ahead of him.

No one commenting on wolves fan/media wanting Jamal to be laid out in the next game. Purposely trying to injury him. That’s pretty low

For those who don't live in the Twin Cities...Skor North is kind of the red-headed stepchild to the real sports station in town (KFAN), and it doesn't surprise me they would say stuff like this for clicks and views. They don't represent Wolves fans as a whole, we want to win the series, but not at the expense of injuring players.

I've given up trying to figure out a rhyme or reason for NBA punishments. Gobert gets fined 100k during the season for doing this, then does it a second time during the playoffs and gets less of a fine. Meanwhile, Murray does the money sign, throws a towel and a heat pad during the same game, and gets 100k fine. Are they just spinning a wheel when it comes to doling out fines?

Flip a coin, I'm in the same boat. I don't think it's over for the Wolves either, usually the result goes the opposite of what I'm thinking right before the game. :banghead:

That's not an average game. That's a low volume game.

An avg game is him going 11/23 and scoring 28ppg right now.

Haha if he keeps doing it will the fine eventually reduce to $0??

Maybe they felt bad for him as it was a blatant foul?

Now we're into semantics over what "average" means, but I see your point. He shot well in the 19-point game, he just didn't shoot a lot. If you mean a game more like his regular season numbers, then yeah, that's possible. We shall see.

Not really semantics. That's just what I meant by average. I suppose his overall production in game 3 was average, for sure.

But this is sort of a law of averages thing. Just as the Nuggets got healthy and started playing with more intensity, he's due to settle down a bit, and the Nuggets are due to win in Denver imo

Inspektor1312 wrote:What a series so far... That Game 2 was the most embarrassing game by Denver since Nikola got into MVP mode like 5 years ago, Minny absolutely dismantled them, but what a comeback by the champs!

Great adjustments by Coach Malone, and great execution by the "other guys".
AG was the MVP of Game 4. It's incredible to see just how much that dude improved in every facet of his game since coming to Denver. Seems like the antithesis of someone like Lavine.

I was convinced the Nuggs had them in 6, even after the first game, but no way this Minny team is losing 4 straight, so I guess it's Denver in 7 now

And I just wanna say, It's so awesome not having one or two superteams that have a guaranteed a spot in the finals unless they get injured.
Hopefully that trend keeps dying out as Lebron, KD and the rest of the "ship-jumping" generation retires.

Cheers friends, we're witnessing great basketball.
Wait, what do you mean? LaVine improved his game almost every year up until the point where his body failed him and he couldn't sustain a full season of basketball anymore. Your body failing =/= not working hard.

This series has been as unpredictable as you get… so I sense Minny will have a blowout win

We shall see. I'm curious to see what happens over the extended run, to be honest. It's the thing I've been waiting to see for a couple years now.

It’s not that complicated in my opinion. They had to fine him, they wanted to fine him a lot because he’s a repeat offender, but they can’t fine him as much as Murray. I think this is where the number $75k comes from.

My confusion is they fined him 100k earlier in the season for the exact same thing, and as a repeat offender he now gets a lesser fine.
