:noway:

So to be clear for the record: you are rooting for that kid to fail?
Do you believe he does not deserve a chance?
Do you believe that he is not worth gambling on in a weak draft?
Do you believe that he does not have the skill necessary to perform or adapt at the NBA level?

Do you even have an opinion?

If you are hating on him just because of his dad, that reveals way more about you as a person. I hope for your sake, that is not the case.

If I'm OKC I take a flyer in Bronny trading future pick for late 1st.

They have a max slot with a small trade or so.

Convince LeBron to play for an exemption.

You have e stars youth and picks to continue building while avoiding luxury tax a few yrs

I've got no idea if Bronny should be drafted over others or not.

I just know I'd take him over Ben Simmons so I hope the Nets do draft him.

Plus that combine tape better than any Simmons off-season summer highlights.

I heard scouts were putting his floor at "Steph Curry".

He’s proving all of the doubters wrong. Look at that lightning quick release. It’s obvious he only struggled shooting in college because of his heart problems. He’s looking more and more like a lock for the first round. 40 inch vertical too which makes up for being 6’1. Btw the two time consensus NCAA player of the year only managed to go 14/25

I also heard that, and I think it is a very accurate assessment. Why?

For Curry, it took half season to win his first and only second place award in a three point contest, in 2010. To this date, he's failed to win his second second place award. Bronny already did that even before being drafted, and has 14 more seasons to surpass Curry.

I think draft combine is important for things like measuring height, weight, agility, athleticism basically. But shooting? How many chances do they even get, or they literally just get 25 shots and that is it? I understand that such practice tests more than just shooting, but also dealing with pressure etc. but thats just it. All these draft prospects can shoot. Sometimes they will shoot 25 shots and hit 10, and other times they might hit 20. I would not really put real care on how much they hit, I think the more important thing is just to try assess how composed they look. If the guy is sweating bullets in that practice next to all the scouts, how will he look in a game with 25K crowd and knowledge ~150 countries stream his game live?

I was checking whether they published measurements like they did in the past, but came up with this interesting stuff:

"The 19-year-old was deemed to be 6"1½" tall without shoes, which is noticeably lower than the 6'4" he's listed at for his USC bio page. It's possible the Trojans measured him with shoes on, with the NBA having years ago standardized how each player's height is determined."

I'll approach this scientifically: Assuming the complex which the combine is held wasn't cold enough to cause players shrinking noticeably (Edey still looks tall), either USC/Bronny's camp were lying about his height or he was wearing these shoes.

How did he go from late round draft/not being drafted to being a 1st Round draft and this just from a combine? Crazy.

Bronny might have a nice niche in the NBA as a 1 guard who shoots lights out, defends at a high level and can get out in transition.

Put him next to a playmaking 2 or 3 like Ant Edwards or Luka and he’d be great.

shorter than i heard, long wingspan so i guess that could help defensively.....not enough tape on him and what tape there is it's fine nothing special....don't think he's ready yet but he's taking his shot so we will see....honestly i don't know if it would be a good thing if he went to the lakers....the idea that you can go from struggling on a disappointing USC team to actually getting minutes on the lakers seems kinda wild to me.....or he could be sent to what kenyon martin calls "the graveyard" the gleague south bay lakers....but is he good enough to even be there? i guess we'll find out.....it might be best for him to be drafted or signed to a small market team away from the spotlight and pressure where he could just focus on just hooping and developing his game

I posted in the draft board that my best comp for him based on size, length and skillset is a cross between Avery Bradley and Payton II. I wouldn't draft him in the first unless I knew Lebron was coming. If it was independent of Lebron I think he's worth drafting and I would take him after pick 50
