obviously I can't speak for those GMs. it means: imo, 30\30 gms wil take ANT over Tatum

statisticaly? is that those same stats that related to ANT's rs %'s and +-? i'm talking about the playoffs. in his short career ANT has elevated his game in the playoffs and Tatum, while having plenty of opportunity - did not. that's not to say he's a bad playoff performer, on the contrary, even maintaining ur rs production in the playoffs is solid and valuable but ANT is on a different level.

Offensively Ant has been better the last 2 seasons in the playoffs, he's been great. It's myopic to ONLY compare them based on that when debating the op's question. It's a legit debate and that's saying a lot for Ant, Tatum is now a 5 time all-star, 3 time all-NBA guy at 26 years old. Both are superstars. I'd still take Tatum, he really has no holes in his game other than being streaky and he's a legit 6'9 with a wide shoulders and a good wingspan, a prototypical defender. Ant absolutely can surpass him but I don't see it yet, recency bias aside.

myopic?

maybe I misunderstood the OP but I didn't read "surpassede" as in "career wise" or "accolades", obviously he hasn't surpassed Tatum in either but as a player for a playoff series? give me 22 year old ANT over any version of Tatum for a playoff series, that's just my opinion and I thought that was the question the OP has posted, in other words: is ANT better than Tatum and imo - he is..but hey that's just my opinion

Maybe I misunderstood the OP and I'm not calling your opinion dumb or anything. I get it. I disagree and have a different opinion but they are both fantastic players so we could debate it all day and probably not move each other an inch on it. Either way enjoy the playoffs.

Edwards had a bad game sure, but I’ll still easily take him over Tatum AND Brown together.

No Mike Conley = excuses, according to you.

Tatum wishes he had even secondary ball-handler skills.
Aaron Gordon, Devin Booker, Tyrese Halliburton, Trae Young, Anthony Edwards and Luka Doncic all made the Conference Finals.

Where’s Joel Embiid?

I think for Edwards to feel what it’s like to be Tatum, his team would’ve still won by 20 against some sorry East team

Is this the first bad game for Ant this playoffs? He looks worn out this game to be honest. I mean, the Nuggets have 245 lbs Gordon, 210 lbs KCP and 220 lbs Braun wearing him down every night.

He had a quiet game 3. I don't know that I'd call it "bad," but they lost and he posted 19 points.

This one, however, was marked by turnovers and poor shooting which was partly due to loose shot selection from 3. 0/5 inside the arc after one half. 4/5 after, but not enough.

One game, though. Every player has a bad game. Sometimes even in important ones. We have spoken much of Tatum's performances. Well, now we've got one from Ant to discuss, I suppose.

I'll take ANT because of his energy and leadership. His spirit does so much for his team. He's a special player. I never felt like Tatum was a special player.

I don't think so.

If you double him, he struggles.

He was not good in Game 7.
** Embiid is the only MVP in NBA history to never make a conference final
** Philly won multiple playoff games without MVP Embiid
** Luka made The Finals without Brunson
** LeBron missed the playoffs with Davis
** Steph missed the playoffs with Klay

6-24

This is like Artest bailing out Kobe in game 7 of the 2010 Finals.

If we get Boston Minnesota Finals, it will be so toxic here and I'll enjoy every second of it.

Kobe had 23 and 15 and played great defense.

Along with 10 crucial points in the 4th in a tight low scoring game.

Absolutely nothing like Kobe.

Meanwhile Tatum 4 last games.

43/92 for 46.7%. 127 points total on 59.37% true shooting.

Guess which guy is getting killed in the media and which is being hyped as the next MJ?
