And that’s one of the worst contracts in basketball similar to Bradley Beal’s contract. If it’s not looked like that now, it will by mid next season when Kawhi’s body breaks down even more as he gets older.

Just cause other teams give out stupid contracts doesn’t mean you should hamper your team with stupid contract.

Look at the Warriors during their dynasty run…how many bad contracts did they have? None. Look at Denver now on the verge of repeating…none. Look at Bucks when they won it…again, no bad contracts on roster.

If the goal is to win a championship, it’s rare to do that with a horrific contract handicapping your salary cap.

James and George are the only players I can think of. Siakam is a toss up. Where are you getting 4 players from and those guys are not leaving LA for the 76ers anyway. The 76ers front office would be doing blackflips to replace Anunoby with bum ass Tobias Harris.

1. Paul George
2. Lebron James
3. Pascal Siakim
4. Miles Bridges

If they can't do any of those things, then they will probably look to trade for a player for a team looking to clear space (i.e., Dejounte Murray-type player (you never know who will become available (see, Porzingis, Dame, etc. last year)). If those things don't materialize, then they might consider OG. Or maybe they would prefer Demar Derozan, instead. They want a player, preferably a wing, that can carry the scoring when Embiid sits or be a closer at the end of the game to take pressure off Embiid and Maxey. All due respect to Anunoby, but he's not that player. OG is like a chick you take home at 2am because all the other girls you wanted left already.

EDIT: Forgot about Jimmy Butler, he'd go into that trade for a guy group. But there is smoke around Miami moving on from him and I'm sure the Sixers will kick the tires. Forgot Brandon Ingram too. You were right, it wasn't 3 or 4, it was more like 6 or 7.

The 76ers do not have the type of assets to trade for a star level player. They literally have no assets other then picks.

They have cap space which is the most valuable asset.

Example, the Pelicans already have Ingrams replacement on the roster, they're trying to clear space to build around Zion. The Pels don't want to take back salary in that trade. A trade for Jimmy Butler would be a multiple team trade, where the Sixers send out picks and eat a bad contract from another team and get Butler while the team they're eating a contract from sends a player. You don't need players on your roster to facilitate a trade.

Heck, it could be a three team trade where Miami gets Ingram, Philly gets Butler and New Orleans gets picks. There's so many possibilities.

Stupid post

Hes getting paid

Doubling down on a mistake is never a good idea. The Knicks have a history of signing injury prone players to huge contracts. Anunoby is a class act so I hope the Knicks give him a massive deal.

26-5 with OG, hes in his prime

These are not your old Knicks so thats irrrelevant

Like him a lot, but he's not a max guy. So Weaver will probably max him.

50 million per is not much anymore for superstars. He just has to load manage better to be fresh for the playoffs. PG13 wants even more now.

I mean he's a flexable All defensive player who can shoot anytime he walks onto the court, which is about 70% of the season

Yeah he's worth it. I think the injuries do suck, However He's been hugely under-rated from his Toronto days, He's still the one guy ive seen absolutely shut down Edwards while he was trying to play his way out of Toronto.

If you dont pay him, he walks, and there is like 28 other teams who would offer him whatever lowball contract You are hinting New York should offer, and quite a few who will throw 40M at
