Since 10 games into the season...

Post#1 » by technologic » Sun Jan 27, 2008 5:31 pm

who has been performing the best offensively (PER based, I guess) since, say, 10 games into the season?

maybe nate33 can help me out. Just interested in seeing who's had a monster year but had to shake off early season jitters.

Well, I don't know about players who started off slow and got ridiculously better as the season went on, but I know the opposite -- Manu Ginobili was statistically having one of the best starts to the season in the history of the NBA, especially considering he was coming off the bench. He's still playing very well, but has dropped off a bit.

Chris Bosh also started pretty slowly.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

December
15 Games 26.5/4.3/7.6/49.6% (39.6 MPG)

January
11 Games 27.5/4.8/6.7/47.2% (38.9 MPG)

It took him a while to shake the injury/surgery blues but he is a totally different player now when compared to when he came back.
