Do you now think Hedo Turkoglu should be an all star?

He's been on the Wizards who for the past three years have been in the playoffs.
And the year before joining the Wizards, Jamison was on a Dallas team that went 52-30 over the season. Jamison won the NBA's 6th Man of the Year award that season.

Well Doc after yesterday's game said he already voted for Hedo onto the All Star roster. His vote carries a lot of weight since he's coaching the team.

then Detroit fans will be all upset, Wiz fans will be upset, Bobcats fans will be upset, and Magic fans will be happy...and the same goes on down the list...if the coaches vote a player in, im cool with it...every year at least one or 2 guys gets the major shaft...honestly though, as far as im concerned, i dont care...as long as Dwight is in there, it's all good...

Have the coaches voted yet? If they did prior to yesterday's game, then he probably won't get in. But, if they're yet to vote, then he just might slip in because of the game winner, the EC Player of the Week award, and the "what have you done for me lately" factor...
Still, like I said earlier, he's one of those bubble guys. If he makes it, others will feel cheated. He's part of a small core of players who will either make it or unfortunately get snubbed. Just to be in this sort of position just goes to show how great of a season Hedo has been having.

4th at the buzzer, but game winner doesn't mean buzzer beater...they mentioned it last night on the radio and if you go back and look at the games, sounds about right...
oh alright, yeah he's hit a bunch of clutch shots.. so I can see that, just thought you meant buzzer.. was like holy ****

No. Wizard fans wouldn't be upset because Antawn Jamison ought to be a shoo-in. Bobcats fans will be no happier than Hawks fans. and Pistons fans wouldn't care. Championships aren't determined by all-star appearances, and the Pistons seem to get complacent when personal success is attributed to them.
But if you're giving Hedo Turkoglu an all-star nod because of team success then Rasheed Wallace should make backup C (over...Brendan Haywood's Wizards and Zydrunas Ilgauskus' Cavaliers) or Rip Hamilton should be named as one of the backup Gs.

i dont think you understand the point of my post...or i just flat out dont understand you...but it's cool, because it doesnt matter
like i mentioned, i dont give a isht...if it happens, it happens...if not, oh well...so be it...im not a fan of the ASG anywho, i like the shootout and the dunk contest, outside of the that, i might catch all of it over the period of a week on tivo...

The NBA finally did something smart, there is no longer the need to have a backup center in the AS game. This is the 1st year only 1 center has to be chosen, so because of this I could see Hedo making it now.

That is not really our argument, it was just icing on the cake.
If he doesn't make it I won't gripe too much unless a bad team like the Hawks or whomever gets two players on but it doesn't change the fact Hedo is playing at an all star level and is a big reason for his team still having a good record(trust methis team would be .500 or worse right now if it had lost hedo for a month)
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.
