I think the fact that he shot under 70% from the field is real concerning...

the really ridicilous thing is that his splits incude all the hot potatos and late clock heaves, and there's quite a few of them
he's been making an astonishing % of his actual, selected shots since this thread was created

this thread is a keeper for sure, it's really improving like wine with every week that goes by :)

See there is a reason I bumped this thread a while back. Love this thread ;)

disappeared? sorry i don't get alerted every time a thread of mine gets bumped a few weeks later

his efficiency is still down, one hot month doesn't change it

the point in OP still stands, go re-read it. the point is, Jokic's efficiency is only high on less usage.

his efficiency is insanely high on 22 ppg taking barely any shots.

that goes for anyone really that's trying to clown a thread based on the thread title THE NUMBERS YOU ARE SHARING SUPPORT THE OP BECAUSE IN OP IT STATES JOKIC CAN ONLY BE EFFICIENT ON LOWER USAGE

His highest usage season he has 66.1 TS%. Keep making clown takes while your boy is the worst playoff performer of all time for an MVP.

Now go back to ducking.

is that highest usage season this season? simply put you have to hold jokic to another standard which is exactly what i'm doing

did i say jokic is BAD? nope, but you can't handle even an ounce of criticism for the guy you live vicariously through

I know you said you don't acknowledge other people's posts, but this thread is literally people posting daily about how amazingly efficient Jokic is, his historically amazing numbers, and how astonishly wrong this thread is. The fact you want to insult one person on the thread, saying they live vicariously through a player, and can't take criticism, but can't accept 100's of posts pointing out how your fandom of Joel Embiid has clouded your perspective, and Jokic is probably one of the 10 greatest NBA players in history, putting up Wilt Chamerlain numbers, shows that it's probably you who lives vicariously through a player, and needs to make a thread after two bad games, because you feel a personal inferiority. You feel the brunt of criticism thrown at Embiid, so you felt the need to reach and find SOME criticism of the player who's overshadowed your favorite player.

Embiid is a great player, who unfortunately is injured quite often, and can't win in the playoffs because of it. Enjoy his play, his historic numbers, without needed to find a reason to disparage Jokic. Just enjoy what you have, and let go of the silly comparison.

Got to keep this classic thread alive. The joker slacking last night, only 70% from the field, a big drop off from the night before

You're starting a franchise and can draft Jokic or Wilt, who you got?

Jokic no doubt. If it was certain his numbers translate 100% it would be Wilt, but it is impossible to know that. No reason to take a risk when you can have the evidently best player today.

Wilt refused to practice before noon one year, left multiple franchises, feuded with coaches and teammates, and disappointed in the playoffs.

It is a good thread.

Good to remind jokic to take the right shot time to time.

TBF, he injured himself during the game and did have +14. He played 37 min and in htat remaining 11min, Paul Reed gave a big -21 so 76ers lost by 7; Jokic was +14 and Jordan was -3 today, so Nuggets ended up win by +11.

To be clear , I think he’s not always easy to like .

But he was coming back from injury and he still get back after that fall. Not much you can blame him for today.
