the spurs won because they had the best player in the game? and because they are an extremely well-run organization with a great team...and do you remember how popular the admiral was? they didn't have to fix anything for them and just let them play because you can't have the spurs lose to an obviously lesser team

but when you've got two evenly matched teams like the bucks and sixers, and you already know who the matchup is (LA)....you take the chance and alter the outcome so you can at least get some philly viewers

as has been said a million times before in this thread, stern picks his battles

These threads are ridiculous. Clearly, nothing (not even rational argument) will persuade Bucks fans that the series WASN'T rigged. Essentially, this has become a forum for them to vent that their window closed without a ring 6 years ago, and hasn't shown any signs of re-opening since. God forbid you disagree with something and present an alternative view.

Bucks fan here. The officiating was bad, but as Europa said the Bucks could have gone up 3-2 if Big Dog hit that wide open shot.

Thanks for that hard-hitting analysis, son. Thanks for ignoring the fact that this thread was started by a non-Bucks fan. And that some of the posters who agree have been non-Bucks fans. And those who have presented an alternative view have been respectfully (more or less) disagreed with. You know, as is normal for civilized argumentation.

But thanks for putting down your copy of The Notebook and caring about this so much.

You mean the non-Bucks fan that asks a question? "What If"?

And that some of the posters who agree have been non-Bucks fans.

How many?

Less. Definitely, less.

But thanks for putting down your copy of The Notebook and caring about this so much.

I'm not a fan of Nicholas Sparks. I'm actually reading Van Goethe at the moment.
