yeah i dont see how the mavs can win this. sga cancels out luka. williams damn near cancels out kyrie. who does dallas have to compare to holmgren? they have some other pieces as well. the thing is, okc has a crazy home court advantage because okc feels like the hardest place to play with every person wearing the same shirt and yelling

A 100% SGA not only cancels out sprain knee Luka, he doubles him.

haha part of me feels like it's less about the knee and more about luka thriving under pressure and wanting to feel it by giving up the first game. anyway, i modify what i said. sga, as good as he is, can't cancel luka out completely

Kidd has 5 series, the Mavs were underdog in 4 of them and the only one with HCA was when Luka missed the first game vs. Utah. He should get some credit for stealing the second away game against both Clippers and OKC this season.

OKC's weak link is Giddy, OKC needs a real point guard out there that can hit a 3 and defend and Giddy just isn't it.

we actually don't need a point guard / another ball handler with Shai and Jdub and that's why Giddey is such a bad fit in OKC.

I think we need an elite PF that can shoot the 3.

yeah he was my targer #1 last offseason but somehow no team wanted to give him a lot of money.

Do the teams fly between OKC and Dallas or take buses?

I guess it depends on their mood.

Either or. But Game 3 is early on Saturday. Might as well fly, get some rest, sleep. relax and practice.

Its similar to San Antonio to Dallas/DFW. 1 hour flight.

Drive time is about triple the amount of time (3-5 hours depending on traffic). But OKC is much closer to Dallas I believe.

Dallas flew so they could've slept at home. Don't know about OKC.

I am excited about the next game. Early game. OKC lost their first game. How will they look when they feel the first time pressure in the POs. You don't want to be 1-2 and playing one more on the road.
