TRADE FOR SIAKAM AT C I DARE YA

Poeltl can be had too. He's leading the league in FG% so we only want 6 1st round picks. We'll settle for 5 if you act now lol.

To be fair I'm on Christmas holidays so if you didn't respond I would have never known I posted this.

For the Pels, Randle would be a great upgrade over Zion.

Sucks for Mitchell. Hartenstein is a more than capable backup. He’s going to set himself up for a pay raise.

iHart has opened up a lot for Randle so far. It's a different look but working. We're woefully thin up front though.

Yeah. I wouldn't hate just rolling with IH & Sims...but I also think that Fournier + DAL FRP for Capela could be a solid stop gap...

I still hate the idea of IQ leaving, but I am kinda warming to the idea of sending him to Orlando for WCJ+ if we could use that + to also get a longer 3&D guy like Pat Williams.

Carter could help iHart hold the fort while Mitch was hurt, giving us an interesting new wrinkle next to Randle...and he could play next to IH when Mitch got back.

I'd rather pay less for Bitadze. He didn't play tonight and filled in admirably for Carter. We can't go forward with Sims. He's not good.

I'd be down with keeping IQ and swapping Sims for someone more ready, like Bitadze, too...as keeping IQ is my preference. But WCJ is interesting to me not just because he could help us hold the fort while Mitch is hurt and hedge against IH getting a massive offer in FA, but also because he can give us minutes at the 4...meaning that even at full health, a Randle / Robinson / Hartenstein / Carter big man rotation could work.

I'm unsure about Sims, he wasn't good enough before getting hurt this time around, but he did a fine job when Mitch was out last season. So I wonder if Jericho didn't just need a little more time to get used to playing regularly again, kinda how Julius needed those first 6 games to get his rhythm, because I do still like Sims' potential...that springiness + frame/power + effort level should carve out an NBA career, even if he remains just a garbageman offensively.

this news SUCKS.

If you were just following the stats, you probably thought Robinson was stagnant in his development (career low scoring and shot blocking). But man was he ever night and day in terms of defensive focus and discipline. His blocks are down because he's finally stopped leaping at everything. He's been better defending at the level (look at those steal numbers), and just an absolute anchor in drop. It was cool to see a player really find his role and excel at it. (Even if I still hate how he's used in Thibs' offense).

Knicks will survive with Hartenstein, but this lowers their ceiling big time, imo.

I really like the way Mitch plays the game. Energy and heart. Sad news. I hope he comes back even stronger.
