That’s pretty funny but harsh for a player who is 26 who has led his team to the Finals or the ECF almost every year he’s been in the league.

For a superstar, I have never seen a player work as hard as Tatum to get his own shot. Dude, just shoot the ball. It's like watching Kobe play in slow motion.

He’s just not a freak.

Whether it’s in a traditional athletic sense, size, IQ, or dexterity (or in the case of the true all-timers, some combination of these), Tatum just isn’t an outlier in any regard.

He’s got good size. He’s got solid explosiveness. He can shoot well and has excellent footwork. He’s just not a freak, and you kind of need to be if you want to be an MVP-caliber player.

Tatum is like DeRozan in that sense. Not as many pump fakes though and DDR actually is never afraid to try to take over a game.
