What happens if LeBron plan to stay with Lakers but another team drafts Bronny?

It would be really different if Bronny was a decent NBA prospect. This isn't like when the Heat drafted Shabazz Napier to appease LeBron. I don't think anyone is wasting their pick on Bronny. Kid should stay in college, get healthy, get better, this media circus doesn't help him at all.

He's making $6 million a year in NIL money and probably more if he actually becomes a real player.

Obviously money doesn't factor much as that is a pittance against the James Empire he will inherit.

Also I think the Pelicans have until 6/1 to defer that #17 pick til next year, otherwise it's theirs to keep. And even if they do the Lakers would be incredibly stupid to waste a 1st round guaranteed deal on him.
