50 wins. He is one of the greatest of all time and would make life 1000x easier for Cade.

Will Monty "I am trying my hardest to get fired so I can get my huge payday and chill at home for the next several years" Williams still be the coach? Then even Jokic may not be enough to make them a very good team.

In the 2021-2022 when Jamal Murray and MPJ missed the entire year the Nuggets won 49 games in a tough western conference. It was Jokic and Aaron Gordon and a whole lot of nothing. That roster was ass. Still nearly won 50 games.

The Pistons + Jokic next season would have more talent than that Nuggets team did. Not as much experience, true. Might experience some growing pains. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if they got to 50 wins in the east.

That was my first thought too. The roster around him that season was so bad, it's hard to imagine him doing much worse with the Pistons' current team.

For reference, the 21/22 Nuggets team that won 49 games in the West:

Monte Morris / Facu Campazzo
Will Barton / Bones Hyland
Jeff Green / Austin Rivers
Aaron Gordon / JaMychal Green
Nikola Jokic / Zeke Nnaji

That was an all time carry job. The Pistons squad, whilst young, is a better supporting cast

Jokic is probably a better player now and the East is weaker so I think you’re looking at 50 - 55 wins.
