According to all-star ballot returns, the Chinese do.

Yi will be good but no KG. It's always hard to predict what a foreign player will become because so much stays hidden but he has shown signs, but definitely no flashes of KG-esque play yet.

Well, averaging 10 and 6 midway through his rookie season is a pretty good start, in only 28 mpg.

Greatness? He'll be a solid starter in the league and not a bust. Possibly even a 20 and 10 player if he works hard to improve. But I don't think he'll be a Hall of Famer or lead a team to a championship.

My guess is he tops out at around 16 and 9, possibly getting a few All-Star bids due to help from Chinese votes.

he won't be great but definitely a very good one sometime towards his 3rd year in the league.

If Yi wants to achieve greatness he better hurry up. His prime is starting to fade.

10 times better than Skita? So Yi is going to be as good as the average Div II player.

He hasn't shown anything but flashes of being good, and those have been far and few between from the games I've seen him player.

How in the world did you get him possibly being a Dirk, let alone a KG? lol

He's talking about potential. If you saw KG his rookie season (10.4 ppg, 6.3 rpg) or Dirk his rookie season (8.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg) I don't think you would've thought they would've been great. Yi has a long way (10.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg) to go but yes he has the potential to be great. But potential is nothing, execution is everything. I think Yi will be a very good player, but top 50? Probably not, but who knows.

I think he is definatly a close 3rd in his draft class. He may end up 2nd. Yi and Bogut will be the Bucks franchise players for the next several years. If he gets more confidence on the court, and develops a tougher/rougher attitude, he will be a force with his size and athletism, along with his shooting skills.
