Did Carter play with Bosh? Or was he there the off-season they drafted Bosh, and Carter was soon traded there after?

Even if he never ended up winning much with the Raptors he was destined for icon status not only in Toronto, but in all of Canada....

then of coarse, he didn't like the way things were going, gave up, demanded a trade, and threw away everything he had for a second chance in New Jersey...

now Vince is 30, his New Jersey nets are aging and falling apart, and Jason Kidd has just demanded a trade...meanwhile the Raptors are a young, up and coming team, led by one of the best bigs in the game(who by the way wasn't good enough for Vince). Now Vince is stranded, rotting in one of, if not the worse franchise in the NBA... but he couldn't possible quit again? could he? what would that to do his already damaged image? yeah, he's stuck

By the looks of his salary I'm sure he could careless. More like, how stupid does the New Jersey management feel after giving Vince all that money!?!

Yeah Carter played with Bosh.

They could've been a great 1-2 punch...sigh.

Worst thread ever. Toronto management was the worst in the league at the time, and it's not like they've had a history of winning either LOL.

I've never seen a fanbase dick ride one player as much as the Raptor fans do to Vince Carter.

He didn't like it there, asked for a trade, got the trade, end of story.

Leave Vince alone.

I think it's weird how fans get so touchy over players leaving. even if the circumstances were bad, that's why you sign contracts. it's up to the team to sign players, plain and simple.
