Depends if they were hotboxing. Beasley could have been high (although it wouldn't show up on a test) without touching anything.

What a bunch of morons.. I'm glad we traded away Arthur even more now. Also makes me more sad that Memphis didn't beat Kansas :\

And lol @ Beasley not getting in trouble at all despite being in the room. Stardom status does wonders in the NBA

Multiple sources cited marijuana being involved with the expulsion, but stressed it was not clear which player had been in possession or utilizing. There is no specific marijuana testing at the rookie program, although players who present cause are subject to additional testing.

ESPN.com, quoting a source, said Chalmers and Arthur were fined $20,000 each and will begin the season on the suspended list. However, league rules explicitly state a player cannot be suspended for a first marijuana violation. - Sun Sentinel

Interesting that they're going by who was present yet they're excluding Beasley in the fines

Stupid a$$es is what they are, I wouldn't mind if the league had a policy of "If you smoke weed, you don't play in our league. These stories are getting old.
