One thing I don't like about message boards is that it's too easy to take the comments of a few posters, and make that represent an entire fan base. Unfortunately there are bad posters / fans from every team, and often they are the loudest commenters, but saying things like "Heat fans are this or Celtics fans are that" is really doing injustice to the rest of the fan base who have nothing to do with the over-the-top comments made by the few.
I know that most of these in-your-face posters would also never do stuff like this in real life (hiding behind a key-board is just way too easy nowadays), so they get off by acting all tough from the protection of their own homes.
Thankfully there are way more classy fans from most fan bases who are willing to talk about the actual game without going all nuts or looking to cause trouble. I actually learn a lot from these boards through some of the well thought-out comments of many of the posters here, and try to just ignore the pot-stirring comments of the others.

Threads like these are good because the trolls come out of their caves and then you can just add them as foes and better filter the content you see.

Are there really Heat fans in here talking about how they want their team to actively hurt our guys? Mods, can you ban these people please?
What is going on this playoffs, i've seen more "take out player x" comments more than in any other playoff year.
It was disgusting last night listening to SVG talking about how Tatum deserved to get hurt for doing what every player in the history of the game does during a dead ball. It's classless, and there's no place for it in a series that was decided before it even began.

I won't go so far as to call the Heat a dirty team but they take advantage of the NBA's newly-swallowed whistles to get away with as much pushing, shoving, grabbing, reaching in and elbowing as possible. Derrick White would have scored 50 if they let him get to the line-- and they weren't touch fouls either. Makes me seriously question whether or not at least one of the officials bet the under on the spread. The next Donaghy is just waiting in the wings.

I'm a heat fan And I can tell you We all knew What Was up before the series Started and the rest was just smack talk
But we also knew That this is an unproven and under achieving Boston team That can only win A championship To be Viewed as solid And not lacking character.
So smack talk became one of our strongest allies And we backed it up for a while in a game 2.
Guys, a word of advice...
don't take games too heart...
Especially the one that other people play.

Looks like KP out for 2ish weeks. Hopefully Cavs/Magic does the distance and Celtics can finish off the Heat and one of those teams without him.

We all known that a pretty great #1 seed lucked out with Terry Rozier missing the series, but let's please stop talking about injuries.
And certainly hinting about being happy guys go down or hinting you hope someone goes down.
