Hmm, I think Schrempf made one or two All-NBA teams, but I can't see him getting to a first team.

Did Manu ever make a first team? He's the only other 6th Man that comes to mind that would've deserved it. But I doubt he made one due to limited playing time.

Okay, I looked up Schrempf and Manu. Schrempf made one third team and Manu two third teams. So not them.

Yep. Already covered. We got McHale too, who was a top-5 player in the league by accolades (MVP voting rank, all-NBA) but not top-1.

Now we're looking for another guy who was top-1 in the NBA by accolades and 6MotY at different points in his career.

I can think of two examples.

I can only think of Danny Ainge. No idea who the coaches are.

Dave Debusschere played Major League Baseball for the White Sox. Beside being a hall of fame NBA player, he was also an NBA coach and executive (and league commissioner of the ABA for a year before the merger).

While we're at it, I'm not sure we ever resolved a question long ago, along the lines of one HoF player's name being embedded in another's. The intended answer was that Bill Sharman's full name was William Walton Sharman.

Correct on #2! 2 of them on the GOAT lists. 2 of them legendary busts.

And very correct on #1!!. There have been 11 Bs, which I had some how overlooked. The letter I was thinking of is in second place with 9.
