Just awful, awful...
So this is all based on last game played, how original Lol

So this will change from game to game Lol

Through 10 playoff games he's shooting 40% from the field and 26% from three.

He's been bad for a while now.

If you just look at the regular season and not only that his previous playoff performances it's obvious he's not right and he factually has a sprain knee. Yet no one even mentions it. It's not as if he's someone like Paul George who shrinks in the playoffs regularly, he isn't healthy.

But the Mavs have no chance if they bench him because there's just not enough scoring. OKC would just double Kyrie and they'd be cooked.

Now if someone were to counter with "well maybe if he took better care of himself he'd be healthy" I'm not going to argue with you on that because that's probably true but the fact remains he's not close to 100%. A fat Luka with a healthy knee is still better than 99% of the NBA, this injured Luka is not very good at all, it is what it is.

I don't doubt he's playing through injury, but it's hard to feel bad for him when he doesn't take his conditioning seriously. These nagging injuries are going to keep happening if he doesn't get in shape.

I'm officially out on him as an MVP/ATG until I see him report to camp looking lean. It's inexcusable at this point.

I've said the same thing before they can't win.

However it's hard to argue with people that say Luka needs to take better care of himself. If he's a heavy drinker like some say what excuse is there for him? None.

He absolutely is.

Players who are better than him:

Jokic
Giannis

Guys that are in a similar tier to Luka:

Tatum
Ant
Embiid
SGA

So many of the old guard are declining (LeBron, Steph, KD, Harden, Kawhi, Dame) and he's already eclipsed them or will soon.

OP is right, due to injury he's currently not a top 10 player.

Healthy Luka: Dallas wins against OKC 4-1
Luka now: could go either way, but I'm afraid OKC will edge it
Luka not playing due to injury: LAC easily win the 1st round

Certainly doesn't help DAL that Kyrie is "afraid to shoot" and they can't hit their FTs either.

Saving strength now, faint whispers
